Campus Housing: Safe, Relaxing and Supportive – Living on campus is great! The dorms have your necessities and has great maintenance service. They can get a little noisy due to a lot of the rooms having 3 people sharing it. The social atmosphere is thriving with theme nights and game nights with partner dorms. The housing process is fairly easy and guarantee living with a preferable roommate. The cost is a little pricy in my opinion.

Campus Quality: There are numerous of facilities for the students to freely use. We have an athletic center with 5 indoor basketball courts, 4 indoor soccer courts and a work out gym. There is also an ice rink, Snowflex ( year round ski slope), library, and the Vines center which is used for Varsity basketball or volleyball games. There is something happening almost every night on this campus, whether it be open mic night, coffeehouse, or athletics, this campus has something for everyone!

Administration: Super Strict Christian School – Liberty is about as strict as it gets. If you go on their website and look up "The Liberty Way" you will see what I mean. There is a huge rule book that tells you what you can and cannot do. Some of the thing on there have fines of up to $500 if you break them. The school is completely unfair about how they enforce the rules too. They leave it up to the RA's of the dorms to give reprimands for fines, and the RA's are just students like us. Some RA's are stricter than others so to me it's not fair.
Also, my friend was trying to petition to give guys the right to wear shorts to class in the spring semester because it gets hot. The school told him that if he continued to petition that he would receive reprimands and eventually be expelled from the school. The students have no voice at Liberty. The faculty calls themselves Christian, but that is really hard to believe.

Drug Safety: Drugs are not allowed, but I know a few people who smoke pot right in their dorm bathroom on campus east.

Athletics: The only sport people care about is football in the fall. After football season is over, the campus is dead for the rest of the year.

Majors: The possibilities are endless. Liberty offers hundreds of majors specific to your interest.

Transportation: The campus has a transit system that allows students to find a ride anywhere, anytime. The hills can make it a long walk and the campus is quite large.

Campus Quality: Among the many buildings that line the side of Liberty Mountain in Lynchburg, Virginia, there are a few that include state-of-the-art technology and design. Liberty's 6,500 acre campus hosts facilities such as the Arthur S. DeMoss Learning Center, the LaHaye Student Union, and the newest addition to the Liberty campus; the Snowflex. Liberty's DeMoss Learning Center exists as the main building for academics. The LaHaye Student Union includes multiple basketball courts, fitness centers, pools, soccer fields, and social gatherings. The Snowflex allows for year-round skiing, tubing, and snowboarding for beginners and professionals. LU's campus has it all.

Technology: The computers at Liberty are very up to date. They are normally in great condition and easy to use. There is also usually plenty of them even though there are a lot of students. The speed is good as long as you are using one in the computer lab. The same with connectivity. It is a necessity to have a personal computer.

Weather: You experience all four seasons, winter, spring, summer and fall. The seasons are clearly identifiable.

Overall Experience: I love Liberty; being there has probably been one of the highlights of my life so far. I feel like being there has made me a more confident and successfull person. I have made some of the best friends and had some of the best times there!

Diversity: Global Minded – Liberty University is a global minded university that constantly is putting differences before similarities. That is evident in the classroom, our services through out the week, and in our campus life. We are always looking to reveal truth in different situations. The more chances to reveal truth, the better!

Local Area: Lemme Hear You Say L-U! Liberty has a lot of really cool outdoor attractions such as the blue ridge mountains, parks, and trails. They are fun to explore. We don't really have alot of cool restraunts around the school, but there are some cooler ones downtown if you feel like venturing out!

Campus Housing: The on-campus living situations are great at Liberty and it's quite an experience to live on one of the halls. They're pretty convenient and generally very fun. The most convenient dorms are on the hill, and the residential annex is the cheapest option and is an old Quality Inn, but it is off campus and considered part of campus. The east campus flats are very luxurious.

Guys & Girls: Liberty is a great place to find a spouse or just someone to date or even just hang with. Many of the students are friendly, interesting, attractive people. Liberty has a huge variety of people like basketball junkies, hipsters, normal people, but also a lot of the guys on campus are tools. The relationships are pretty interesting and some couples just can't get away from each other. Liberty's dress code makes it necessary to dress relatively modest, which is a good thing if you are a Christian .

Off-Campus Dining: Lynchburg Food – Lynchburg has tons of options for Liberty students and plenty in general that are in close proximity to the school. Many places accept flames cash which is a part of the Liberty meal plan, and some places such as Hardees give a good college discount. My recommendation would be Buffalo Wild Wings, which accepts flames cash.

Campus Quality: Liberty University is a very entertaining place when students are not busy with school or work. The Tilley Student Center is a great place to hang out; it has 5 basketball courts, weight rooms, exercise equipment, couches, televisions, PS3's, snacks, and plenty of people to talk to. Also Liberty has an on campus snowflex ski and snowboard slope, which is pretty awesome.

Health & Safety: Completely Safe – Although Liberty University is an open campus, I have never once felt unsafe while walking the campus. Liberty has it's own police department, so if you do feel uncomfortable walking alone at night, all you have to do is call them, and they'll pick you up and drop you off at your dorm. There have been little cases of theft, and the no-alcohol rule keeps things calm and safe.

Campus Quality: Ever Growing – There is always a building project going on which causes some issues with traffic, but keeps us excited about what will happen next. With over crowding in the dining hall, Liberty now has different "to go" options where we can grab a quick meal and take it to our dorms. Our gym has 5 basketball courts, with 2 weight rooms, a rock climbing wall, and lots of ellipticals! There is a pool for us to use and 2 jacuzzis.

Local Area: Historical and Beautiful – There are many different things to do in Lynchburg, although it is far from big city life and has no nightlife (which is fine by me). There are beautiful views of the local mountains and plenty of hiking trailers. Thomas Jefferson's summer home, Poplar Forest is about 15 minutes away from town; and, we are also 45 minutes away from historic Appomattox.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Able to Get Needed Experience – I'm attending Liberty University and am a Psychology major. The Psych department has various opportunities for out-of-the-classroom experience including: joining the psych community, listening to dozens of speakers, joining the research program, internships and more. The professors are willing and able to help you, but you also have to be willing to help yourself!

Weather: We're near mountains so it can be quite cold and rainy

Guys & Girls: Variety as usual. Generally attractive guys and gals, nice that there are more girls here than guys. Marriage is heavily emphasized here though so trying to be "just friends" can be awkward...

Off-Campus Housing: A mixed bad honestly. Not really much to rate here.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Liberty offers many options for housing and all have their ups and downs. On main campus dorms the rooms are very spacious and the dorm atmosphere is great having about 70 people on a hall, great way to meet lots of people. There are community bathrooms but they are cleaned daily and always kept in great condition. East Campus is more of an apartment style living with a common room and mini kitchen. Not exactly a dorm feel but it is good for upperclassman or people who prefer a quieter and more private atmosphere.
