3 College Freshman

Scholarships: For many, the process is quick and simple; for others, it can take many weeks, and require countless forms and documentation.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: Liberty is the farthest thing from a party school. However, any Christian seeking an excellent worship experience would be satisfied.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The mandatory meal plan is not well distributed among options. The dining hall is unsatisfactory. The best options are ones that require "bonus swipes."

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Some dorms are sub-par, but are currently scheduled to be rebuilt.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I am an online student.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I have not visited the campus, I am online.

5 College Freshman

Administration: This school has good and reasonable policies.

College Freshman

Campus Food: I am an online student, so I have never been here.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I am an online student, so I have not been on campus.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of different places to live that are near campus.

4 College Junior

Administration: It is strict about things it needs to be strict about. Sometime though it enforces rules that can be inconvienient.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Try to get financial aid stuff done ahead of time.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Some off campus parties take part in activities that I don't want to associate myself with. I don't go to those parties. I want more appropriate party scene.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: I am off campus so the meal plans are not very beneficial to me.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: It meets all the desires I need for it. It could be a little more spacious.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The team performance varies by sport, but everyone is usually supportive and shows up to games and such. The athletic facilities are fantastic.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The housing selections vary a ton. Some are great, some not so much. It all depends. It can be cheaper than on-campus housing, especially if you don't do a meal plan, and the freedom is great.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I think the off-campus dining is pretty nice. There are plenty of nice little restaurants within walking distance, like Panara and CiCi's. There's also a good mix of chain restaurants and independent ones. Most take flames cash, and some have nice student discounts.

Administration: Rules aren't that bad if you're not crazy. I'm pretty straight laced, so the prohibitions on alcohol, drugs, and dress don't bother me too much. Some people find curfew a bother, but it's midnight on weeknights and 12:30 on weekends, and you can sign out until 2 to places like the computer lab, so I don't think it's a big deal. The one thing I hate is mandatory hall meeting at 10 on Wednesday nights (it just changed from Tuesday nights). They're a pain in the butt, unnecessary, and hated by all.

Scholarships: I received several scholarships, including one for the honors program, an academic achievement scholarships, and a few small ones for doing things like filling out my financial aid forms in time. I also had an outside scholarship, which was handled very well. The financial aid office was very helpful when it came to looking for loans, and they also offer assistance in looking for outside scholarships.

Party Scene: We don't have crazy parties, but I'm okay with that. I'm your stereotypical honors student who would rather have a wild night with the the tabletop gaming or anime club than go to a party. We may not have parties, but we have fun.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The Reber Thomas Dining Hall (known fondly by students as the rot) isn't as bad as people say. They have really stepped up their game, especially this semester. Some of the food isn't so great, but some of it is pretty good, and there are a ton of options. My only problem is that there aren't a huge range of choices for healthy food, and if you're vegan, you're gonna have some problems.

Campus Housing: I live on main campus on the hill, and it's great. The dorms on the hill are older, but they are closest to the dinning hall and North campus, which is where some classes, a lot of the offices, and the gym are located, to name a few things. It's also right next to the academic halls. The bathrooms are kept pretty clean, but it depends on how messy your hallmates are. On the hill there are a maximum of 70 girls on a hall with two bathrooms, and it never gets crowded, and I only have to wait for a shower when one bathroom is being cleaned. The rooms are three people, and they're small, but I don't think they are too much smaller than a two person dorm. I'm planning on staying in a hill dorm next year.
