Majors: Liberty was one of the only Christian colleges I could find with a Special Education degree for undergraduate students. As a special ed major I have to get a 3.0 in all of my classes to meet the requirement for the next gateway to be able to take upper level education classes. It's a lot of work and can be overwhelming. I will be student teaching, I don't think I'll get paid.

Campus Quality: Liberty has good hang out places. The dining hall is the main place students hang out I don't know why. They have a newly renovated clubhouse with video games and a outdoor heated pool and heated patio. That place is really cool a lot of students hang out there too. Nobody really hangs out at the student union. Another place people hang out is the lounge area in the computer lab, because you can hang out there after curfew.

Technology: The computers in the computer lab at Liberty work good and there are plenty of them, but they are Windows 7 so it's older software. They have several places to print on campus, but it costs too much to print because it adds to your balance which is stupid. I don't think we should have to pay because tuition is so much. The network and internet speed here are terrible. Almost every student has had problems with the internet here. You definitely need your own computer because the computer labs aren't quiet people go there to hang out so it can be really loud if you're trying to study. It would be very beneficial to have your own printer because printing here is so expensive.

Drug Safety: Liberty is a Christian college and they are very strict on drugs and alcohol. You have to sign a contract before you go here that you won't drink while you attend Liberty; even if you're of age. There are huge fines for getting caught with drugs or alcohol. If you're caught with it or it's found in your room you will get written up and possibly expelled.

Scholarships: It took forever to get through the financial aid, they kept requesting more and more documents. I finally get through and I barely get any financial aid besides loans and little things they give everybody. It didn't cover my whole balance and now I can't register for classes next semester. It's sad that even with loans it won't cover my balance. They charge way too much here!

Guys & Girls: At Liberty, there are a lot of country boys. It's very typical to see guys walking around in camo and driving pick up trucks. There are also a lot of athletic guys that wear basketball shorts and T-Shirts. The girls are all pretty fashionable they usually wear the latest trends. Since it's colder up here they usually wear riding boots and infinity scarfs. There's a mixture of country girls and city girls.

Off-Campus Dining: Eating out is always expensive and noone in this town offers student discounts or they are very limited.

Diversity: Students are generally upper middle class, alot of internationals with things for them to do together with other people who have learned their language, pretty conservative politically but follow mainstream Republican Party line.

Health & Safety: Campus is very safe. I leave my car doors unlocked most of the time.

Guys & Girls: There is a large variety. Pretty much anything goes as long as it fits the dress code.

Administration: It's fairly typical I suppose for a Christian school. I don't really have anything to compare it to.

Scholarships: Had a great experience. The school called often and were always available if I had questions.

Majors: As a business major, I did not have to apply to the school of business. Nursing students, though, do have to apply to the program.

Majors: The school of business is an exciting place where students can study marketing, international business, finance, accounting, and other cognates.

Academics: With the exception of the nursing and law program, Liberty is not overwhelming with the work load. Students balance a social, spiritual, and academic life.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Liberty has over 315 areas of study both online and residential. They don't specialize in just one area but students study nursing, law, medicine, business, religion, and many more.

Campus Quality: Liberty is the world's largest Christian university and unapologetically conservative in thinking. If you want a faith-based world-class education at a growing university, Liberty is for you.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Liberty dining is decent for college food. The school has a Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, Chick-fa-la, sub restaurant and diverse dining hall. However, as with all college food, no matter how they change the menu, you always feel as though you're eating the same food just served a different way.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I think Liberty is the greatest university in the world. Liberty is the largest nonprofit four-year college in the country, the nation's seventh largest university, and the largest college in Virginia. It is a very exciting school that is always growing and changing.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Most of the guys on campus are strong Christians. There are always exceptions though.
