Academics: I transferred to Liberty, and I certainly don't regret it! The classes are challenging (although this depends largely on your degree, and how much you apply yourself), and the professors are amazing. I've never had a major problem with a professor, and I haven't heard of any 'problem teachers'

5 College Senior

Majors: I love the major I picked and feel I am learning a lot. I feel very prepaired for my future!

5 College Senior

Guys & Girls: There are so many different people that are very fun and friendly.

4 College Senior

Administration: I feel Liberty has high standards that they stick to and some students may not like it, but most of us do appreciate it.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: You will find a diverse group of both guys and girls at Liberty University from all over the world as it is a large school. The school does have a dress code which requires modest clothing on campus but many students have led a sheltered life and can't wait to get off campus and remove their clothes. In other words, many students here are very promiscuous!

Off-Campus Housing: There are many off campus housing options available in the Lynchburg area. Many of these options are apartment complexes although there are also numerous private homes rented out by their owners. Parking is never an issue in the area and my experience with landlords has been completely positive.

Weather: It rarely snows in Lynchburg. The weather is rather mild so classes are not cancelled very often.

Majors: I am extremely happy with my program. As a nursing major, I will pretty much always have a job, especially since I am getting a BSN. There are plenty of opportunities to move up in my field. I can go on and get a Masters or Doctorate degree, or I can work to receive other certifications and specializations. Any nursing program is difficult. It takes a lot of time, effort, and lack of sleep, but I would definitely do it again!

4 College Junior

Majors: I personally do not have an internship, but as nursing students we do hundreds of clinical hours in the hospital. This is unpaid work obviously, but if you work hard and leave a good impression on the hospital staff, many times it will lead to a job offer once you graduate.

5 College Junior

Majors: I'm a junior in the nursing program at Liberty University. All the professors know their information and are highly qualified. They also take the time to get to know you and really care about all their students. While in the program you spend tons of time in the clinical setting, which helps you learn more skills and become more knowledgeable and comfortable around patients. The program is very competitive to get into, but once you are in, they do everything to help you succeed. Last year the NCLEX pass rate for graduates was 98%.

Academics: Very tough and in depth, I suggest taking 4 classes a semester at minimum but no more than 5 , the work load is moderate to heavy, the professors are great and take time to answer my questions, the crriculum is up to date and the facilities are new or nearly new.

3 College Senior

Diversity: Liberty University is a Christian University, so there isn't a lot of religious diversity on campus. However, they pride themselves on being open to each and everyone, so I couldn't give them a lower than B grade

3 College Junior

Parking: The university has grown tremendously and continues to grow. There isn't enough parking spaces for all the drivers.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: First of all we have a mighty protection over our campus because of the hand of GOD. Secondly, we have LUPD on campus driving around hourly.

5 College Sophomore

Technology: The Computers on campus are fantastic. So many computers are everywhere and anywhere we need. The WiFi has good access rates.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The academics offered at Liberty are wonderful and the range from every field. Most of the professors are awesome in their knowledge of their subject.

1 College Junior

Administration: There are a lot of rules and I have heard that people get kicked out if they do not follow the rules, or that they have fines to pay.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Being as there from VA the weather is pretty nice with mild winters and hot summers.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Durg use is not that prevalent due to the schools high moral standards. This is in part, origonating from the fact that they are a chirstan school.

Campus Food: There are a variety of places to get food on campus, but the dining hall does not offer amazing food. Many times students' bodies have to adjust to the food offered at the dining hall.

4 College Freshman

Campus Quality: Liberty Universtiy offers many diverse opportunities and facilities. The student center provides students with places to eat, hang out, play, and workout. Liberty University seems to have made campus life as easy and stress-free as possible.

Parking: The parking on Liberty University's campus is notoriously bad. The campus gets full quickly, and is sometimes a headache to drive through and find a parking space in. The worst part of the parking situation, though, is definately the cost for a parking permit. The price is outrageous and should definately be lowered concidering how many students commute.

4 College Sophomore

Local Area: I love the Christian atmosphere and growing in my relationship with Christ. There are plenty of opportunities to grow. If you're looking to party and not follow a few rules, then this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for change and growth, this is the place to be. People are overly nice and the teachers are wonderful.

3 College Sophomore

Technology: I have had not had any problems with the computers except it is kind of annoying that you get locked out for getting your login password wrong too many times. I understand it is for security purposes, but still.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: I do enjoy the weather on campus. No extreme seasons. Beautiful fall and a beautiful sunset. I am not quite used to the humidity but the lush greenery around campus makes up for it.
