5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I absolutely love Lewis University! This school is very unique due to being in a small town atmosphere, yet still close to the city. I would definitely choose this school again if I could do it all over because of the atmosphere and the welcoming environment.

Overall Experience: I love the small town atmosphere but still being so close to the city.

Overall Experience: The professors are experts in their fields, and genuinely care about how the students are doing in the class.

Overall Experience: It's mostly a commuter school so parking can be hard to find sometimes. And the campus is on a plot of land so it's not really in the middle of a town in their downtown area like other school. The academics are great! Everyone is super friendly and everyone knows everyone. It could be a little more diverse. All thought Lewis is kinda pricey and they don't give out scholarships easily. Overall, I've enjoyed my experience here.

Overall Experience: Lewis University has a College of Nursing program with an excellent reputation. It is challenging, which keeps me focused. If I were to do it over again, I would have seated more colleges and probably have gone away to school. I am a commuter which has not allowed for the independence of being away from home. The positive side is that I continue to have family support and can keep my part-time job as the management has been flexible with my scheduling around classes.

Overall Experience: So far I love my school, every staff member is so helpful with any questions I have. The sports teams are also really good and it is fun to watch them.

Scholarships: Getting financial aid at Lewis is easy and they will help you a lot. Just make sure you go and meet with them in the library.

Campus Food: The dining and food options at Lewis are okay, but it is not great. The food is well cooked but expensive and most of the time you are better off finding somewhere off campus to eat.

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus but the housing and social atmosphere seem great for what I am told by students who do live on campus.

Campus Food: The food itself is very well cooked and prepared. The food court also provides numerous options and choices throughout the day with some variety. That being said, the overall price is rather high and you do find yourself running out of funds faster than anticipated. The atmosphere and d├ęcor are very well put together though and the overall experience is rather enjoyable both in taste and environment.

Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus has many options and varies in costs depending on where you want to live.

Party Scene: If you are looking to party then Lewis is not the school for you. Most of the students are commuters and go home after class so there is not many parties at all.

Off-Campus Dining: There is tons of places to go eat off campus ranging from fast-food such as McDonald's to sit down restaurants such as Buffalo Wild Wings.

Administration: I have not experienced any very strict policies yet. Since I don't live on campus, I'm not around too long to experience anything like that.

Administration: The administration at Lewis is great. There are rules but they are not that strict. As long as you do not cause trouble you will not have a problem.

Administration: The overall rules are followed and the officers are not out to get the students, the only time they hassle anyone is if the situation calls for it or they are provoked. The campus remains orderly and the majority of the student body seems primarily interested in staying on the good side of the local officers. The rules are semi-strict but they are fair and help keep the campus safe.

Scholarships: The school has a base scholarship rewarded for academics for transferring students, which I was at the time. The scholarship though is rather small and hardly covers the books and cost of living/ it also has a steep cutoff despite the range of academic scores. Overall, I feel if the school is going to charge so much in tuition it should at least provide ample financial support.

Campus Housing: The overall building is beautiful and the proximity to the classrooms is very nice. The amount of space in between rooms and the sound level however are unfavorable. The social atmosphere is lacking as well, but the following of rules and laws is highly regarded.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a decent number of off-campus dining options in the area.

Scholarships: I have personally not had any trouble with getting my financial aid, but I have heard so many terrible stories from other students about their experience with financial aid.

Campus Food: Since I am a commuter, I don't eat on campus often. I have eaten breakfast here before and it was good. I usually buy beverages and soup and either Charlie's Place or The Courtyard which is always good. I sometimes get a sandwich from The Courtyard and that is good too.

Party Scene: there is no party scene here whatsoever. it does not matter if it is a week day or weekend, there are no parties or social gatherings. every one that has a car goes home on the weekends because it is more fun at home, then on campus. its very sad and I wish I knew this before I started college here. I am trying to transfer out.

Greek Life: Romeoville does not allow frat houses. The sororities are pretty easy to join. You can even join a sorority, work part time, and go to school full time without breaking at the seems

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The school doesn't have a football team and is a smaller commuter school so actual sporting events are pretty empty. Intramural teams are big at Lewis they are easy to join and a great way to get involved on campus. Most people have gone to or played in a game.
