Academic Experience

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Since I go to a community college, only two year degrees and certificate programs are offered. I am completing an associate's in Science before I transfer to a university. I take 4 to 5 classes per semester, so I work hard to keep my grades up. Most of the instructors here really care about you and if you are struggling with anything they will help you in class or during office hours.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: As I said before, the college does not offer but so many programs because it is a community college, but recently a variety of unique small "skill set" classes have been popping up. The school has sent out emails about sewing classes, interior decorating, cake decorating, crochet and knitting, and other neat skill based classes. The school is very well-known for its nursing program. Most women in my science classes are there hoping to get into the nursing program. I usually plan out my classes by myself and tell my advisor which classes, times, and professors I want. I personally do not trust the advisor to make sure I take all the classes I need.

Academic Experience: To be my specific major which I want it to architecture and design is pretty difficult because there are many things that they do not offer here other than that LCC is a great community college.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Here at LCC they offer a variety of classes for the students it just depends what each students would like to take. The registration is some what easy especially if you already know what classes you would like to be taking or what interest you.

Academic Experience: It let me work in a school system through them and I have learned a lot.
