5 College Junior

Academics: Professors are fantastic. I am a history/politics double major and I have yet to come across a poor professor in my discipline.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The professors have mastered their fields, and they are doing a great job of teaching me what I need to know

5 College Freshman

Academics: Guys, if you're afraid about applying to college, this is your safety net school in North Carolina. Get that FAFSA and scholarship money up, and this place is very laid back. I slacked off quite a bit and am paying for it, but everyone within the school is there to help you. We have a wonderful Dean of students, amazing, understanding professors. The curriculum is a bit easier than what you could expect at, say, UNC, but the class sizes are also smaller. More 1 on 1 with the professors. Registration is a breeze. If you're looking for a safety net, or just want to get the initial "I need ONE acceptance letter to stop freaking out," try here. Laid back.

Academics: It depends on the teachers than the academics. Some classes are easy to take and others are complete hell.
