3 College Freshman

Weather: Cold and snowy this year and it's on mountain making things a bit colder. Spring and call are gorgeous

3 College Sophomore

Weather: The winters are very cold and the summers are very hot. The spring and fall are the most beautiful times on campus.

Weather: Seriously, we are on a mountain. We get all the snow, and we have missed several days (including exam days!) because of snow and ice. It gets really slippery. If you are trying to walk up the hill when it is icy, you like don't even move. It's like your feet are moving but your not going anywhere.

3 College Junior

Weather: The weather completely effects pretty much everything you do. This year (2014) was horrible with how much snow we got and its tough to walk to class with all of the snow and ice and cold. But with snow days you have extremely fun days drinking all day at the bars.

Expect typical Northeast weather in Bethlehem. As students return to school in late August, there should still be about a month of reasonably warm shorts weather. The beginning of October usually sees cooler weather, and by November, it starts getting much colder. Bethlehem winters are pretty unforgiving. Even if it’s not snowing, it’s very cold, and when it does snow, it snows a ton. The snow makes getting around very inconvenient, especially since Lehigh is situated on a hill. The cold weather also brings a noticeable mood change in most students. Even though everyone parties year-round, the winter can make Lehigh seem very bleak, but around March, sprits begin to lift again with the advent of warmer weather.

Once the warm weather comes in, the last month or so of school is one non-stop party. Pledging is over, and fraternities have barbecues almost every day. You can’t drive around the Hill without seeing at least 10 guys per house hanging outside in their parking lot. It’s an incredibly relaxed atmosphere and is one of the greatest aspects of being at Lehigh. The warm weather lifts everyone’s moods, and the only downside is that the end of the year is near, and those great, care-free times can’t last forever.
