Campus Quality: I just like the over all apperance of the school. Its not your normal mundane school it has style and a little modern. Come on now who does not want to go to school and cook and get to eat what you cook. There is all kinds of extra programs here you can join in for extra knowlege or just for fun they have a Wine and Sprits club and so on. The oppprtunities are endless.

Student Body: Have not been here long enough to get involed that much with any of these things yet.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Most diffentley! I'm getting a two year associates degree in Culinary Arts for a small price. It is pretty straightforward if you get on the FASFA web site and fill out the forms thats it your in. If you do have any questions just get in touch with the finacial aid office here at Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, TX and they will help you.

Academic Experience: I'm just in my first block Chef Cohen is my instructor he is wonderful. Pretty straight forward be here on time in uniform and do your work and you will survive. Registration process was a breeze, I did everything online I was accutley in Oklahoma doing some volunteer work and did all my paper work. Drove back to Austin, TX a few weeks later and started school. Thanks for a couple of people Jennifer Fritter and Leti. If you need to do extra study they have all the tools and resocures you need and are more than willing to give you a hand.

Academic Experience: I am loving it.... The Chefs here are wonderful if there is a question they get it answered. They workload is not all that bad for college. I did just start so my curriculum is still kind of fuzzy to me but i'm sure its going to be great. Clean clean clean just they way you would want your house that is the way the campus looks. Job opportunites have been endless there is so many jobs out there for the food industry it is mind boggling.

Academic Flexibility: The main reason I chose this school was they have a remarkable Baking degree program. They have helped me with financial aid, transferring from my previous college, and they helped me through every process from applying for school, financial aid, and now starting classes.

Academic Flexibility: They have several different time brackets for students. Morning, afternoon, evenings....

Career Services: I haven't used their services a whole lot yet but from what I've seen it is probably the biggest data base to help student find a job that I have ever seen. It also helps that they are an international school so you hve an extremely larger amount of opportunities.

Student Body: From straight out of high school to working parents to senior citizens, this school has a wide array of students. All of us are serious about learning and it shows.

Academic Experience: the specific major at my school is a big deal because everyone wants what you are going after and you have to leasrn to set the bar high for yourself and decide if that is what you really want to do for the rest of your life and the chefs there help get you through that proccess.

Academic Experience: I am majoring in culinary arts, baking and patisserie. My classes have been just basics, but basics I feel we didn't necessarily need to be taught. Like how to saute chicken, or make a tomato sauce. Maybe in the long run I'll find out why, but I haven't had any cakes or pastries with those ingeridents. They haven't required I take psychology or anything off the wall like that though. They do have a job center that helps you at the end of your course to get an externship and a job.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office here is very willing to work with you and help you every step of the way through your payment options and fafsa information. If you ever have any questions, you feel like they actually want to help you and they aren't just doing it becuase they have to. I only had one instance when they took a couple weeks to file a paper I had faxed to them on receiving a loan, but that was eventually taken care of and everything was back on track. A lot better than the financial aid department at the community college I was attending. I do feel I'm getting my money's worth when it comes to the education I'm receiving from the tuition I'm paying.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes are small, so the chef instructor has plenty of time to answer our questions. It's very hands on which is an easier way of learning rather than just reading out of the book.
