Overall Experience: I love my school because it open your eyes to the culinary industry and give you more knowledge on food itself. It allows you to be creative when it comes to preparing a dish. I have never experienced fabricating a lamb or eating a rabbit or making a lot of food items from scratch. My school has so much to offer such as extra training, volunteer work, contests, clubs, and job opportunity. Wearing that uniform with Le' Cordon Bleu logo will attract a lot of employers. Once a student you are apart of the family and the staff and the chefs make it their best to show that you are family. I would suggest this culinary school to anybody.

Overall Experience: The courses and professors at this college are grate! I can deal with a large or small class I am adjustable.

Online Courses: The on line courses are very flexable. The workload is not heavy because there is no rush and the registration process is much more faster. The professor are more encouraging and you can chat with students about your lessons as long as you want with no interuptions.

Academic Flexibility: With one of my classes I had a very hard time because I have hard time with family because they were new town incomers.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Not cheap, but a bargain in comparison with other schools. The education is complete and more product goes through the hands of a student than any other school that I am aware of. This information comes from friends and network associates who have shared their experiences with me.

Career Services: I do not have personal experience with this...yet. However, I know those that have and all report great experiences. The only negative responses I have heard were from those same people who did not apply themselves at the school, and who think it is ok to not show up for work when scheduled. Really?

Academic Flexibility: The only thing is missing are weekend classes. There are 4 different time periods throughout a day one can take classes, including evening classes.

Overall Experience: I am VERY satisfied and thankful for having this opportunity and the Le Cordon Bleu name on my resume!

Overall Experience: All the chefs are professionals, although there are the occasional personality conflicts, these are challenges you will face in the industry also. If one thinks that you can avoid all challenges and personality issues, you are only deceiving yourself. Don't let others determine your attitude nor your success or failure. You are the Captain of your ship, steer it where it needs to go and only take in those things that really are for your betterment. Accept the challenge and only those criticisms that will make you better, to reach higher, and make you a better performer! No one else can determine your future or success unless you give them that authority!

Overall Experience: Most of my issues were due to having to work through the VA system.

Student Body: Here is the "weak-link" in the program. There are students who are coming straight from High school, some with real motivation some without. Not to say that they are the only challenges, there are older more "mature" adults who attend that think they don't have to put in any effort and should be spoon-fed their degree or certification. These are the biggest challenge for me. They are not the majority, they are only the loud! Most students are focused, hard working, professionals and it shows in their work and in their attitudes. My view may be a little skewed too since I spent 22 years in military special operations groups where this type of attitude challenges were extremely rare and dealt with immediately. But, I was asked for my opinion.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Although it is not cheap by any means, it is definitely worth the investment. As I stated before, there are others with an equal reputation where one will have less product to use and three-times the expense!

Academic Experience: I would give it 5-stars, but some of the programs are going through revamping so it would be wrong to say they are perfect. I have enjoyed all of my instructors, including the General Educational instructors. They have always made themselves available for extra training or just needed help. The Student Resource Center (SRC) has tutoring programs that cover almost, if not all, programs, including knife skills, NEHA Cert, Math, English, Speech, Psychology and other programs where students need assistance. Those who have reported their experience with the tutoring program have been extremely supporting and satisfied with the improvements they have developed with the extra help.

Academic Experience: I researched several culinary schools and found that for the return on investment, Le Cordon Bleu is by far the best investment in my culinary future. They provide more production, more hands-on instruction, and more product going through the hands of a student than many of the more expensive schools out there. The investment can be less than a third of other schools that provide much less. And, all of the instructors have been successful in many facets of the culinary industry, including owning their own restaurants, catering services and baking and pastry shops. We also have 2 Master chefs in our program. CMC Daryl Shular is the Executive Chef in charge of education, the first African American to be certified by the American Culinary Federation, as well as Chef John Kanadu, who is a German Master Chef who developed the Cross Cultures Culinary program for Atlanta. There is a plethora of talent and training here.

Campus Resources: They have a Student Resource Center where many issues students are facing can be resolved or sources can be found. Although they do not have student dorms, they do have community contacts that work to help find affordable housing for students. You cannot depend on the staff to do the footwork for you, but they will provide the resources to keep you from going it blindly. One should not come to the school without a job, somewhere to live, or a vehicle or transportation plans. They can assist you, but they cannot provide housing, income, or transportation, they can only refer you to community resources who may be able to assist.

Campus Resources: My adviser is very helpful and informative. My teacher makes it interesting to learn. the students are friendly and easy to talk to. The campus is not too far from my house so I always arrive early for class.

Academic Experience: Le cordon Bleu offers certificate and degree programs in Culinary arts and Baking and pastries. the programs are fast pace and each rotation of classes is 6 weeks long. They offer classes in Morning early afternoon evening and late evening blocks. the course work is easy and the instructors work with you. there are many volunteer opportunities and clubs where you can get field experience. The career center helps you get matched with jobs and externships. Overall this school can give you the advantages needed to advance your career.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I started classes on the 7am to 11am schedule and was easily able to transfer to the 11am to 3pm shift when situations in my life changed. and was able to stay right on course.
