LCC offers a wide curriculum of classes needed to complete an associate's degree and help the progress of eventually receiving a bachelor's degree at a four- year institution. I particularly love the fact that most of their credits are applicable to a wide range of institutions, something that is definitely helpful for all students who wish to transfer at some point in time. Professors are helpful and interested in their students accomplishments. They want their students to succeed and the material covered is intellectually challenging. Most importantly, it is affordable! I probably would not be attending college if not for their low tuition and intricate financial help.

I could rate LCC as a great community college to start off with. It is very affordable in comparison to other colleges and universities, and very encouraging about learning. The service is great! I have been helped by many generous employees that have helped me get started on my college journey.

As LCC does not actually offer my intended major - International Studies - I have only been subjected to the core classes that all majors must take. The workload was sometimes a bit rigorous and difficult, but always offered intellectually challenging topics. The facilities are well done and comfortable, making the entire experience a lot more valuable.
