As a white student in a HBCU, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The professors are very competent and also want to see the students succeed. Its definitely not a free ride as they are professional but all my professors have been very helpful and encouraging as long as they can see the students putting forth good effort. The students are great, I have felt welcomed and included as a minority on campus. My only complaint is the admissions and financial aid offices are not on top of stuff, as it takes very long for them to get documents processed and I didn't receive my financial aid till almost the end of the semester. But overall its a great environment!

I learned that when people say college is how you make it they mean it. After getting out going to experience things on my own, I grew to love Langston. I joined this wonderful club called Heart to Heart it has gotten me closer with my religion. Langston makes you see that your life has purpose. I also became a SAB member this organization helps me crawl out of the shell I sometimes hide in. It is a good thing to be in because you get to help around the campus. It also helped me overcome my fear of getting involved. The faculty has been very caring and is hands on when it comes to helping me. My professors and teachers are great I honestly can say they care and want us to succeed. They will take out the time to make sure we have no questions. They let us know about their office hours and tutoring. Langston is such a great school to attend. It is so many things you can learn while being at this HBCU! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly; you cannot help but to smile everyday.

I absolutely positively love the campus housing facilities at Langston. Its basically set up like four bedroom apartments with two bathrooms that are of course shared. There is a living room with furniture and also a kitchen with furniture and a dish washer and refrigerator. We don't have stoves because its a fire hazard but we are allow to bring other cooking utensils. What I also really like about the dorm life is that inside our rooms, we are provided with a mini refrigerator and microwave! these are really convenient. I think anyone would love to live on campus at Langston.
