Tuition & Financial Aid: My thought's about the financial aid process is that if you do everything ahead of time it keeps you from needing documents at the last minute. The education is worth the tuition you pay for if you take the time out to apply yourself.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition at Lamar State College Port Arthur is very reasonable. My financial aid process went really smooth, since I started and finish my process really early; way before classes started. I even became friends with the financial aid director, who helped me a lot with my financial aid to process faster.

Academic Flexibility: The main reason why I chose this school is because it's close to home, but also because the tuition fees are much less than other colleges in my location. The class schedules are also very flexible and convenient for me. I also was credited 3 classes because I was in a program in high school so that actually helped out a lot.
