Academic Experience

Academic Experience: I am a PSEO (Post Secondary Enrollment Option) student. I'm a senior in high school and I will be graduating with my Associate's degree of Arts this spring. Although I wouldn't personally consider this a major, I have enjoyed my college experience at Lakeland. Being a part of a college has helped open my eyes to my future options when I do have do decide on a major.

Academic Experience: I think that overall, the Academics at Lakeland are very good. Registration was simple and my counselors were knowledgeable and flexible. For the most part, the professors at Lakeland are great. I've had one or two in the past who weren't my favorite, but I think every school has those. The workload was definitely a change from high school. I wouldn't say school is necessarily harder in college so far; I do think that college pushes you to actually know your information rather than just memorize it for a test. As the latter was generally how I was taught in high school, I had to unlearn what I knew about learning in order to get good grades.

Academic Experience: This school has a lot of facilities that accompany my learning experiences. I would like to eventually become an occupational therapist, which works with disabled people. This school offers many lounge areas for me to study in, which has definitely helped with studying for exams! Their library has a lot of resources that have been helpful to my learning experience, and also a fitness center that combines working out and studying at the same time!

Academic Experience: The professors at my school have been very helpful during my college experience so far! With many of my classes being close together, some of my instructor's office hours conflict with that, but have been very flexible with me! I love the classes that are offered at this school, especially the First Aid course where you can even receive your certificate! The registration process is very simple with the help of the counselors.

Academic Experience: The workload itself is not to bad, I can manage. However, learning the new concepts can prove a bit challenging.
