Love My College – Lackawanna College was my first choice. I love it because it is conveniently placed in my hometown, so I'm not unfamiliar with anything, being that it's my first couple of years in college. I love how the classes aren't that long or challenging. I was always afraid of what would happen when I got to college. I was afraid that I would fail, or get way too overwhelmed. But Lackawanna College helped me to succeed, and is still helping me to do that. It made me branch out and get involved with the school. I tried out for the cheerleading team and made it! Now I'm captain! Lackawanna gave me a great experience and it still doesn't fail to put a smile on my face. I recommend Lackawanna College to anyone. I love my college!

I love my college. It's not challenging, and the class schedules are so flexible that I could work them around my job. I never had much school spirit in high school, but Lackawanna changed that for the better. I joined the cheerleading team there and now I am the captain! So many good experiences came out of LC. I met so many good friends, and surprisingly, no enemies! I also dorm on campus, which is a life-changing experience. LC is a great school with awesome programs. It's a shame that I will only be there another year. LC is giving me the start of my education, and for that, I couldn't be more grateful. Go Lackawanna!

Lackawanna College is a great school and the reputation is only getting better. The teachers and study body are very friendly. The class sizes are small. You are not just a number, the teachers will get to know your name as well as who you are as a person. The staff has many little events especially during finals week, where they give away free food and drinks to show appreciation to their students. Many planned special events such as dances and karaoke are planned, but have little attendance. The staff is always trying to figure out what their students will be interested in planning. Lackawanna has many clubs that will get you involved in your community and will look good on your future college resumes. The school is also right in the middle of Scranton so you can walk with friends to the little shops, restaurants, and cafes on your breaks. I have done very well here academically and have made many friends. I think Lackawanna is a great choice for a lower priced school that has quality education. It is a good starter college before you may transfer to a larger 4 year university.
