Facts & Statistics

Tips for Getting In
LaRoche loves design majors.
Things I Wish I Knew Before Coming To School
  • A rule in the dorms states people of the opposite sex cannot be in one another's rooms after 2 a.m. This rule is broken often and is not strictly enforced
  • Anything you say and do on campus can and will be known by everyone the following day. Don't get drunk and profess your undying love for someone—they'll know and so will the rest of the campus.
  • Campus security guards take an overly long amount of time responding to calls.
  • La Roche is not authorized to tow cars.
  • There is a no-sex-on-campus policy. If you're caught having sex, you can be kicked off campus.
  • Walls in the dorm buildings are thin, and you can hear anything that happens in the room next to you.

Campus Tours
You need to schedule a personal visit with the Office of Admissions if you want a tour. Tours are offered every weekday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., as well as the first Saturday of each month. However, admissions asks that you schedule your appointment at least two days in advance. During your appointment, a student ambassador will give you a campus tour and an admissions counselor will meet with you to discuss College procedures, academic programs offered, and financial aid options. You'll also get an information packet about La Roche to take home with you. Fill out an online registration form at
Overnight Visits
Overnight visits are held once a semester for accepted students only. Accepted students attend classes, eat in the dining halls, participate in social events, and spend the night in one of the residence halls.
