Greek Life: I haven't had luck yet.

Athletics: School spirit at most events is great. It's not like a larger university though. The stands are not packed. Student support is great, they keep it exciting.

Overall Experience: Love the atmosphere, love the diversity on campus. I hate that it's uphill, downhill. I hate that when the wind blows in a certain direction, you can smell all the manure. But I think the professors are great in my field, and I'm very happy and excited. Lots to do on campus too.

Greek Life: I have never tried to get into a sorority but it does not seem hard to get in and I only know the Greek life by parties.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: There are sporting events but the students aren't really involved, some attend but its not big.

Overall Experience: Kutztown is an amazing school, it has tons of opportunities for all majors. The people around and on campus were welcoming and I felt like a family.

Campus Housing: I loved living on campus. I lived in Dixon my sophomore year and it was the best year at school. My friends were all a floor away and I could spend every day with them. I'll admit I was always excited to not live on campus anymore. Spending my first year in an apartment I definitely missed living so close to friends and being able to walk in their rooms whenever I wanted to.

Greek Life: I joined Greek life as a second semester sophomore. I love my sorority and the position that I hold. Greek life though is never easy. Having 80 sisters is hard. Always being surrounded by girls is difficult due to the constant clashing of personalities.

Overall Experience: I transferred to Kutztown after my freshman year. I can honestly say this school is much better than my last. All my friends complain about how they hate it and don't want to be here, but I've been to a bad school that I hated. Kutztown is nothing like that. It's a generic state school but it's a school that I am proud to say I have attended for two years, and I'll be entering my final year soon.

Overall Experience: I like the class size how it is like you are back in high school so your teacher actually knows who you are. All teachers teach their own way there is no one teacher that teaches the same as another. There are many different courses you can take ones I never even knew existed. The professors are very helpful and just want to see you succeed.

Overall Experience: Kutztown is not an ivy league school, but it is not bottom tear either. A lot of people I know that have graduated do get a job right away, usually not in PA though. I have never worked with the career center before so I am not sure of their quality. They do have job fairs and update the students about fairs in the surrounding areas as well.

Health & Safety: We have over 50 towers around campus that you can hit the button and public safety arrives within minutes to your location. We have kubock, which is a group of people that walk around Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights on main street and escorts students home if needed. We do have public safety escorts, but it is only for on campus. I think that they should be able to escort people from Main Street back to campus, but that is not provided. There is usually an officer on the shuttle buses.

Campus Housing: The dorm life was alright. I wish the dorms had air, they redo a dorm every year, but do not out air in. The dorms are expensive it has been cheaper for me to live off campus in an apartment and now a house than it was in the dorms. The staff was very nice and welcoming though. I loved my CA and the DRs they made the transition easy.

Greek Life: Greek life at my school is big because we are such a small school. There are 6 sororities and 7 fraternities. The Greek community is actually very strict and formal. We have a no hazing policy and an alcohol policy. Non-Greeks say we are only in it for the parties and that we pay for our friends. Others do not care. No matter where you go it will always be like that. There will be people who hate Greek Life and others who could care less what Greeks even do. We are not allowed to have houses, there is not sorority or fraternity row at my school. Greeks do socialize with other organizations and other people, it is not where Greeks only hangout together.

Athletics: Our men's rugby team is one of the best in the country. They recruit guys from everywhere. They are the best sport team on our campus and everyone loves to watch them, they are what we are known for. I did not even know a thing about rugby until I went to school and now I know so much.

Overall Experience: My experience at school has been amazing, I never want to come home that's how much I love it. In high school I played a sport every season and had a job. I was always involved and I wanted to be in college too, but I chose not to play sports. Freshman year I joined a sorority in the fall and an activities club in the spring. Sophomore year I got a job in the spring and was invited to join a National Society Successful and Leadership fraternity. Going into my junior year I have now held two positions in my sorority, am the vice president of the club I am in, a member of the fraternity, and love my job as a tour guide. I am always doing something which keeps my busy and always having fun at the same time. I have such a wide span of friend and am always meeting new people everyday. People in my organizations and at work look up to me, depend, on me and ask me for advice, which makes me feel so much better about myself. It makes me feel like what I do matters and that I am making a difference in people lives. My college is my home away from home, I love every minute that I am there and I am so happy with the choices that I made.

Overall Experience: School is great. The environment is friendly and it's very social.

2 College Freshman

Diversity: As a Hispanic, the times when I have been on campus I feel completely out of place. There is very little diversity on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The professors are incredible. They will always try to help you and respond to emails. The classes sizes are small for classes in your major but huge for gen eds.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I'm a science major and Kutztown requires lots of lab hours. I already have experience in my field which looks great on a resume.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The campus has it's own police that are around all day. There are emergency stops every so often outside that automatically dials the police. Every lab room has a panel on the wall that has a button to automatically dial 911 in case of emergency. When an incident happens, everyone is emailed immediately about what happened.

Campus Housing: You "have" to live in the traditional housing dorms your first year and half of them are terrible. 3 of the traditional dorms were recently renovated and they seems fine. My dorm and my friends dorm were not recently renovated and they are ridiculously bad. My dorm (Roth) had almost no lighting. I turned on all the lights and additional lamps and it was still too dark to get work done comfortable. My friend's dorm (Detrick) had elevator problems every other week to the point that people with injuries that needed the elevator to get to their rooms had to be relocated. Her room was also always ridiculously hot. The nontraditional housing options are really good though.

Overall Experience: The professors are always available to help you, and you get help directly from the professors and not from assistants. The campus is gorgeous with fountains and beautiful foliage. The residential buildings are across the street from the academic buildings, so it's easy to separate work from play. The traditional dorms can be loud (it's not terrible), but the academic side is always very quiet. The campus is amazing and the professors really want you to succeed.

3 College Senior

Party Scene: Nothing too extreme in either direction

3 College Senior

Party Scene: The bars are nice and have good selection
