2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: A lot of my friends regret living off campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Everything is very family oriented.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: I unfortunately have not received financial aid yet.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Campus food is okay, with a meal plan though it's hard to find something in that price range.

2 College Junior

Campus Housing: Housing is such a gamble. I love living on campus, but being able to to live in my own place would be nice. I sare an apartment style dorm with four other guys, and I was one of the ones picked to share a room. I am a very quite person and I share a room with a very annoying guy. Everything he does gets under my skin. Word of advice, pick your own roommates.

Off-Campus Housing: You can either live in town on top of a restaurant or in an apartment, or in the cliffs or the edge. The cliffs and the edge are party city and swarming with cops, same with all the parties in town.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Really good places to eat from, but some places you have to venture down there. Kutz Tavern has the best food, but it's also pricey.

4 College Freshman

Administration: Not too strict, but things that bother me is that you get in more trouble with a visitation violation or a parking ticket than underage drinking.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: It's very confusing and the people expect you to know what you are talking about. Try to go in with specific questions instead of going in helpless.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I don't go to the parties

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Any food on South side of campus is a nightmare. Sometimes upstairs South has good food on premium nights but that's only around once a month. Anything on North side is delicious but has terrible hours (AF closes at 3:30) or is far away

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms are kind of small, cramped, and breaking. The heat has been on and off working.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Off-Campus housing is alright. The Cliff's is deadly but insanely cheap. And apartments on Main are expensive but as long as you aren't holding awful house parties that get your house trashed, you should be good there.

Then theres Golden Bear South/West which still involves crappy CA's

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Main Street will soon become your best friend. You'll realize how badly you're tearing apart your stomach and want normal food.

5 College Freshman

Administration: The shuttle is super useful! theres the DoubleMap app that is a life saver and shows you when you need to start running for the shuttle!

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Good luck if you have a fairgrounds pass, it's just annoying to walk too and far from south campus (living). But get a job or break a bone or something to get a RES pass and park near your dorm!

Party Scene: Most people can get into most parties, no complaining there. Just watch out who you go with, the cops around here are underage happy and hand them out like candy. So overall don't go with stupid friends who don't know their limits. Because KU police would rather you let your friend go home completely obliteratedly drunk than you make sure they get home safe...because they'll breathalize you too and then you're done.

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: Do not eat at South, it's god awful. They do have really good options at the AF but then again its closed on weekends and doesn't serve dinner so your only (somewhat better) option is the SUB but that just has greasy chick-fil-a and burgers.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Campus housing is alright. I mean what do you expect from traditional style dorms? I think it's unfair that places like Bonner are super old meanwhile Lehigh is beautiful and brand new and we never had the choice of where to live. So they don't necessarily have "different" amenities but much better ones at that.

3 College Junior

Administration: Kutztown is a dry campus so you can't have alcohol in dorms and the parking attendant is excellent at his job. Otherwise, the University is not overly strict about regulations.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I've always lived with my sister and commuted to school but from being in my friends' dorms and apartments everything looks nice.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I have never felt like I was in any kind of danger while on campus or off campus.

4 College Junior

Party Scene: There are always things to do on Friday nights. People usually have parties at frats and sport houses. I usually just hang out with a small group at a friend's apartment. The "rage" parties are not really my scene.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: There are the typical guys and girls that are only at college to party and get an easy degree. However, in the sciences, there are more dedicated students who are more focused. I do not know if I would like Kutztown as much as I do if I were in another major. I am also working on a Psychology minor and the atmosphere of Psychology classes are not as welcoming as Biology courses.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I am a vegetarian and there are two places in town that have quality, healthy food. As far as ethnic food, we have a sub-par China King and an over-priced sushi joint. However, the local brewery is delicious and nice for when parents visit.
