Kettering University is a wonderful school! The classes you take prepare you for your co-op experiences in your designated fields. The co-op experience has been by far the greatest thing that I've experienced. It lets me experience what I will do in the future with my degree once I graduate. Also with the co-op experience it allows me to manage my money, gain responsibilities living on my own, and gain responsibilities within the company I work for.

I am extremely happy with my decision to become a Mechanical Engineering major! In high school, I was enrolled in drafting and engineering courses and even received my A.D.D.A. certification through my local career center. Coming to Kettering to obtain my degree was the best decision I could've made. If I had to start all over again, I have no doubt that I would choose the same major again. I plan to find a job where I would work with the Manufacturing and Business parts of a company, and even hold a managerial position. Since Kettering University has a co-op program required for all undergraduate students, our chances of finding a job are exponentially higher than other college students.

Kettering University is a unique 4.5 year program that gives students the tools to gain work experience at the start of their freshman year, and which continues throughout their entire stay at Kettering. The students are on a 3-month(11 week) rotation between school and their co-op. The co-op program is the reason most students attend Kettering since it; gives students work experience and a decent income during college. Because of the relationship Kettering has with many employers, it is very easy for a competitive student to attain a co-op position either on their own or at a University sponsored career fair. Kettering's intense Engineering program is unique, challenging, and rewarding, and makes me proud of my decision to attend there.
