Career Services: Kettering College is very generous and kind to their alumni members. Kettering hosts many events for their alumni members, such as outings to a baseball game, to show their appreciation and support for their graduates. In regards to Kettering's career center, Kettering assists students with composing their resume, emails students about job openings, and provides tips on the interviewing process. Kettering is a school truly focused on the success of its student body.

Academic Experience: Seeing as there are less than 100 students in the nursing program at Kettering College, it is very easy to get one-on-one time with instructors. When learning new skills in our skills lab, this is very beneficial because you are able to practice each skill with instructors and receive feedback immediately. At larger universities, it is very difficult to get that one-on-one time with professors. Along with this, our clinical experience with Kettering allows us to possibly explore each of the hospitals in the area and network. This aspect of the program allows us to get our foot in the door with potential future employers.

Academic Experience: Kettering College is a school focused on the medical field/sciences. All of the courses that we take are directed at preparing us for our future in the healthcare field. Instead of taking classes that may seem irrelevant to our major, Kettering focuses on giving us the information that we actually need to know for our intended major. Along with this, professors focus on getting to know us; we aren't just a number at Kettering. In regards to our admissions process, the professors serve as our advisers, so it is easy to get in contact with them when applying for classes. Our advisers always walk through everything with us and make sure that our schedule will both work and includes the classes we need, before releasing us and allowing us to apply.

Campus Resources: There are many resources available to the students at Kettering College-from our library, computer center, IT department, tutoring, resume/job application assistance, and writing center, there are many opportunities to obtain the needed assistance. Along with having numerous resources available to students, Kettering also is composed of a friendly staff that works with you to ensure that your needs are met at a time that is convenient with the students busy/hectic schedule.

Online Courses: I have only taken a couple courses online but they were part in class too so I am not sure if that counts. The workload is about the same as a classroom. The registration worked just the same as well.

I personally don't care for online classes at all because I like to communicate with my teachers face to face and ask many questions so online courses aren't for me.

Student Body: A lot of students here are very friendly. I felt very welcomed when I first came to KC. The typical student is religious and very driven to succeed. Kettering's Courses are not a joke, they are very difficult to complete so the students that make it into their program are not here to play around they are serious about getting their degree and a job.

Campus Resources: KC isn't too big on sports, we don't have any sports teams. The college does try to make up for that with a gym and fitness center, weekly yoga, a 5K that is offered in the spring, and much more.

The student center is a nice place to study or do homework in between classes if you can handle noise at the same time because it is usually pretty packed since most students are commuters.

We have a 2 story library full of books and computers. I haven't had to use it much but it seems like it would definitely be useful to many students.

My favorite thing about my school is the campus activities. We have student appreciation week, how great is that? Last year we had free massages, cartoon drawings, and lots of food! We have had Papa John's Pizza, Panera, Dunkin Donuts, Orange Leaf, etc. They love to feed their students! At the beginning of the year we also go to a free Reds game, bowling, and much more! In the winter they take us snow tubing and to the aquarium. They never charge us and transportation is always an option.

Academic Flexibility: I have not had to transfer credits out of KC but I have had to transfer credits into KC and they were accepted. But, I do know a lot of people had their credits denied especially the science classes because KC has more difficult courses. So although it may be frustrating that a credit went to waste, it is for good reason.

I live on campus so my schedule doesn't have to be too flexible but I know others have made it work around their lives.

I love how at KC all of the classes are in one building and the dorms are on top of the classes. It makes it really easy to get to class and get the help I need whenever I want to basically.

Career Services: I find Kettering College to be extremely worth it. It is full of many teachers who care deeply about their students and want them to succeed. KC has a high passing rate and many job opportunities after graduation. It is a very great school to attend with a promising success rate.

Academic Experience: I like that the nursing program is 3 years for a Bachelor's degree and that there is a lot of hands-on/ clinical hours dedicated. I do not always find the workload to be appropriate, or the curriculum to be relevant. I do not think students should have to pay to print either.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: At times, I feel the professors lectures are not good and are a waste of time. Registration is frustrating because if your account is over $100 in debt, you cannot register, and I do not think that is fair.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It is a bit expensive, but I'd say it's worth the price. You have to take A LOT of religion courses though, so expect that and paying over $400 per credit hour. The lab hours aren't the best, but when they are open, the staff is very helpful.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Many jobs/internships are offered and available. The career programs are very useful and the degree is very up-to-date with society and requirements.

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's a great school and the price is expected. It's a little pricey but not awful.

Academic Flexibility: I have greatly enjoyed Kettering College. I graduated with an ASN- nursing a few years ago and felt very prepared to enter the profession. Now, I am in the bachelors completion program and am once again pleased. They present a high level of academic expectations. I am growing personally and professionally. I could not ask for more in an education.
