Overall Experience: Kent State University is a great school to attend. I attend the Stark Campus and it is a nice size but not overwhelmingly so. The classes are small and personal. I enjoy taking classes in the evening because of how laid back it is.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Close to family, my job and within a few minutes of my own apartment

Overall Experience: It's pretty small and comfortable.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The school is good because it offers a lot of online classes The downfall is it cost a lot of money just like most other universities

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Kent State Stark is a beautiful campus, especially in the fall! It's not too big, yet not small either. Im very comfortable at this school and it has a lot to offer! The education is great and I always take a lot away from each class.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love the atmosphere. It's very close niche and the professors really care.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition at my school is almost half the price of most state schools and is a fraction of the cost of private colleges. With small class sizes and individual attention from my prifessors I feel that my money is well spent.

Academic Experience: My campus is the only one in the area that offers my major. The equipment we are offered is not the greatest but it is very helpful with our assignments. The professors are all knowledgeable about their subjects and are very helpful and respectful. The workload is heavy but most of the work directly applies to our field. There is also the opportunity to run live sound for the concerts on campus to gain experience and some extra miney.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The academic aspect of the school is great. Class sizes are small and professors often give one on one attention to students. The class registration process is usually quick and painless. My campus is known best for the music technology program that I am a part of as well as the nursing program.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The campus is very small as it is just a satellite campus but all of the buildings are very nice and modern. Every semester during finals and midterms there is free food, therapy dogs, and fun activities to help you get through your exams.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: All of these services that have been described are excellent on campus. Job and internship prospects are outstanding because of connections that link students with those services. Alumni are very active, and job fairs are held in both fall and spring that bring employers to campus with possible job openings.

Online Courses: My experience with on-line courses is that I've only taken one such course. I'm what you would call technologically challenged, and I learn best in a traditional classroom setting. They differ from regular classes, in my view, because a student does not get the personal one-on-one attention they would receive in a typical classroom setting. I feel peer-to-peer interaction is more difficult and not nearly as intimate as a regular classroom setting.

Student Body: A typical student at my college is in their 20s, gets some sort of financial aid, and works at least part time. The student body is 60% female, and there is a fair representation of minority students on campus. All students are treated with respect and relations between different students is good.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid staff is always very helpful with questions I have about those matters. I am getting my money's worth for what I'm paying for my education. The biggest tip I have for getting financial aid is to keep exploring any possibility for finding money that you can.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: The career service center is one of a kind, the alumni networks are strong and stay engaged with the school, and job prospects after graduation are strong.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: My workload is small because of money. I currently only take 3 credit hours, or 1 class at a time. However, it is workload that I can manage well. The curriculum is a fine one, with lots of course offerings and a variety of subjects in history courses. Facilities are first rate and Kent State Stark campus has a great network for finding internships and jobs and there are listings in these areas all the time,

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors at Kent State Stark are excellent. They are engaging, know their subject, and strive for excellence. I can't say enough about the history professors at the university. Again, the curriculum is first rate and the class registration process is very easy. The Stark campus has special study options such as an honors program that is top notch.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Kent State Stark is a regional campus of the Kent State University system and as such has a very fine student center, library, and has several on-campus student activities for being a smaller regional campus.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Still trying to get one course counted for global diversity.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Love how accessible the profs are. Regional campus is also a plus; I don't have to move to get a quality education.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Class size, great. Professors, consistently accessible and willing to help. Quality of teaching varies. Quality of course material varies as well.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have not yet tried to utilize these aspects.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Only took one online course at Stark. Great prof, good interaction.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: As a nontrad student, I don't spend a whole lot of time socializing. Student body is not very diverse ethnically (mostly white, mid-class), politically conservative.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Compared to private school where I got my first bachelor's, this is amazing!
