I'm in the FLED program (Foreign Language Education) and it's great! You're constantly observing or volunteering in classrooms and there's a multiple opportunities for practical application. There's a emphasis on teacher community and sharing ideas and problems in order for all (including the professors) to become better instructors. Most professors are exceptional, and not only do I learn tremendously in my classes, but also enjoy them. There are a wealth of resources available to you as both an educator and a language learner, and even in my third year here at KSU, I am constantly suprised to keep finding the multitude of books, movies, newspapers, programs, conversation tables, events available to language students. The TRAC center also has die cuts, posters, crafts, books, films, movies, and even puppets and plastic fruit available to education majors. If you are seeking to teach a foreign language, KSU has great opportunities for you. Almost all FLED students accept positions at schools before graduation.

I transferred from Southern Polytechnic State University to Kennesaw after my freshman year because I decided to change majors. I really enjoyed my time at KSU. I love the campus, facilities, dorms, students, teachers, classes, the area, the opportunities...everything. Granted, if you're not proactive about selecting your classes/professors, you can have some bad experiences, but that's at any school. I would definitely recommend this university. Dr. Papp does everything he can to create the best experience for his university and its students. I was really impressed with the progress the university has made and continues to make. Proud to have graduated from KSU!

Kennesaw is definitely high on my list to attend the institution. I've taken multiple tour of the Kennesaw campus and have enjoyed every minute of it. The university really prepared the guide for whatever question because anything I asked, the tour guide was more than willing to answer and even if on the off chance they did not know, there would be a student commuting to a class who could cheerfully respond. Of course, every campus could use some improvement but it seems like Kennesaw actually cares about its campus and is constantly improving even if those are trivial fixes! I love Kennesaw, GO OWLS!
