Campus Housing: I do not use on campus living.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I have not attempted to join a fraternity and don't plan on it. Mostly for what I can see it is used for social experiences and partying.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: There is a good atmosphere revolving around sports. The school is becoming noticeable nation wide and is improving greatly. Intramural are very popular and fun way to meet others people.

Overall Experience: My school is a very good and professional place of learning. The teachers are very helpful as well as the advisors. I have got help with advising what direction to take based on jobs and need for people in that field that I have chosen. I would recommend this school to anyone that wants hands on learning and the availability to continue in your field of study with great teaching.

Campus Housing: out of every school ive been to KSU definitely had the best housing. the freshman housing is really cool because everyone gets their own rooms and only shares a bathroom with one other person. also, we have washers and dryers in our apartment style dorms, plus a full kitchen.

Athletics: The athletic world of Kennesaw is the best everyone basically knows all the athletes and are supportive when we have home games. our first year of football was great and got A LOT of involvement from the students. the facilities like everything else here at KSU is beautiful and definitely a huge part of our school.

Overall Experience: Kennesaw State University is a BEAUTIFUL School. Kennesaw is a nice area and only 20 minutes from Atlanta if you want to experience a big city. The academic side of Kennesaw is very helpful and resourceful. I haven't had any situation that I wasn't able to find answers to and handle properly. The athletic side is fun and we are all supportive of every team. Students here are very friendly and this is a overall wonderful school to be at.

Overall Experience: Course content is always relative to the field and there are always hands on examples or real life experiences that the professors pull from to use in their lessons. My professors are so knowledgeable they can answer pretty much any question you throw at them.

Overall Experience: If you are active in the teams and you network and participate during your time at the school, finding a job afterwards is easy as pie. You just have to know the right people. And if you do what I just stated, you will.

Health & Safety: KSU has a great campus police and they are not only very easy to contact, there are phones all over campus you can use to contact them in case of an emergency. Those same said phones are in the places attacks are most likely to occur, like the parking deck. I think KSU is doing a great job of keeping students safe.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I think the campus housing is really overpriced personally, since we merged with KSU. It used to be a pretty decent cost per semester, or it seemed like it was.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I don't know anything about KSU's Greek life. I don't tend to pay attention to or focus on social things like that when they don't really affect my schooling or career very much. I prefer to pay attention to the academic or competition teams

3 College Junior

Athletics: I don't appreciate all the fees added on for athletics. I don't pay any attention to athletics and quite frankly I don't really care too much about them either. Especially not since my fee for them has went up by about $300 or more.

Overall Experience: Although I may really disagree with the fees and such that I am having to pay since Southern Polytechnic State University merged with Kennesaw State University, I still have to admit that KSU is the best of the best. I love all the online classes offered, I love how professors are willing to work with their students to help them learn and accomplish their goals, I love how hands on all my classes have been so far, and I love all the opportunities offered through the school. My least favorite things about this school are the parking and the $90 fee you have to pay, the academic advisers in my experience don't know anything about what they're doing and they are not very good at getting back to you quickly, and the difficulty I experience trying to get into some of the CORE Classes. Other than that, I love this school and I don't regret my decision in choosing KSU. I wish they would correct some of the issues I pointed out, then they would be the best school in Georgia in my opinion. My advise to KSU is to not lose your focus on being affordable for students. M for students at KSU or who are thinking of attending KSU my advice to you is to join an academic team/club, pay close attention to the syllabi (as it will literally tell you everything that is due, when it is due, and what it should include, especially for online classes), and rent textbooks online.

Overall Experience: I have definitely had bad professors and I have had amazing professors. I believe that I have had far more amazing ones than bad. Most of the professors that I have had have been quite passionate about the topic that they were teaching. My professors have been very forgiving and give second chances, as long as you deserve it and show an effort.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The Psychology program is amazing and provides the students with many opportunities to be involved and informed. I haven't really looked for any jobs or internship prospects in my major because I have been focused on classes instead. I feel that a degree from this school will look good when applying for jobs. I have a lot of respect and appreciation for this school.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I never really feel unsafe but I almost always have someone with me. There is hardly any campus crime and there are many special security measures taken. I feel like the police and safety services are readily available to help anyone in need.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Freshman are immensely spoiled when it comes to housing. The best option, by far, would have to be the University Village. It's a little expensive but definitely worth it in the end because it's a flat rate. You have your own room and bathroom. You also have a kitchen, washer and dryer, and living room. You don't have to pay an electricity or water bill, which is fantastic. I'm obsessed with my dorm and I am sad that I have to leave it soon.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I personally have very little interest in the Greek life at my school. Greek life is quite obviously present. Most non-Greeks consider Greeks to be annoying, alcoholics/pot heads, people with no brain, "sluts", and only concerned about their Fraternity or Sorority.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I don't really focus on the athletics available at my school. I am involved in watching the home football games, sometimes. I also am interested in watching the home basketball games; however, I have not had the chance to do so. There are definitely people who are involved with athletics, fan support, school spirit, and the facilities. All of these are made possible and available to those who want to participate in them.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My school is unique because it focuses a huge deal on making sure that students do well. I have been very fortunate to have the professors and classes that I have had. I love the atmosphere of Kennesaw State because it's not too crowded but also not too empty. I love the food options and how conveniently located everything is. The Freshman are practically spoiled with their housing options. I would definitely, without hesitation, choose my school again if I could do it all over.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: My freshman year held the start of the schools varsity football team. The games were big events, so big you couldn't even buy a ticket to see your own team play. you had to enter a drawing and hope your name would be pulled. On the other hand, intramurals are more public. Only downside to them was that some games are held where students would be playing pick-up-games.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love that the student body at Kennesaw State is so diverse! Origionally, it was not even on my list of potential schools but that changed when they bought Southern Polytechnic, my top choice. After spending time on both campus I am extremely grateful for the merge. The student life is much better on the Kennesaw campus. I would be bored out of my mind if I was stuck at SPSU all day.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Because there are so many owls at KSU, it is hard to get the classes you want right away. You have to stay on top of everything for it to be a smooth sailing ride. Overall the experiences and opportunities at KSU have been great. I feel successful already and I am even happy for my friends to be at KSU with me!

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The alumni Network is strong. Everyone just cares so much about having/obtaining a degree from KSU. Every amenity and opportunity at KSU is top notch so employers know they have a smart individual in their hands when they see that resume. There are tons of resources on campus as well for landing a job in your career field and even helping you get ready and prepare for you future.
