Academic Flexibility: The flexibility of the online classroom is great. It means I can choose when I take my classes based on my work and home life. It works around me, not the other way around.

Online Courses: You don't really get a face to face interaction, but there is just as much interaction as a regular classroom. Your able to message the professor as well as other students. Everyone is included in group discussion boards. The workload can seem to be a lot. It helps to have a schedule set.

Overall Experience: I have to say that so far I love the classes. I really like that they are all online and the professors are really engaged in the class. The quality of the classes are pretty good. I haven't had a problem with them at all. I really like that we are able to speak with the professor and other students during each class. It helps understand the work a lot better.

Overall Experience: I haven't really had any experience with he alumni or job/internship prospects and recruiters with this school. I would however say that this school does have a lot of resources to help with that kind of thing. They have a section on the student portal that will help build resumes and job search. As I said I have not used this yet since I recently started school. I have spoken to my advisers about it. The degrees from this school are all accredited and a lot of the credits are transferable. I think that is a very nice aspect.

Academic Experience: It is kind of stressful actually. It is very fast paced. I feel like I am spending almost whole days in front of the computer doing work. Paralegal has a lot of different aspects to cover. Sometimes I am unsure if it is the right career move because jobs may not be in demand for this profession.

Overall Experience: So far I like the classes. I like that it is all online and flexible. The professors are great. They are very helpful and engaging. The only thing that bothers me is that my financial doesn't cover everything. I will have to pay a lot out of pocket. I received my financial aid package late and it was too late to do much about it. Now I am stressing how to pay for all of this and they arent being much help in helping me find more aid.

Overall Experience: My overall experience has been okay regarding my classroom work, the Professors, the time flexible time. But the financial aide department is for the birds. They are so unorganized and heartless.

Academic Experience: The only unique aspects have been able to communicate through technical outlets as opposed to over the phone. I am a tech savvy person and I enjoy communication this way.

Academic Flexibility: I had a few credits from another college and Kaplan had them transfered, and it was a very easy transition. My classes are very flexible, I worked them around my life. I have had a few hassels, but no big deal.

Online Courses: I enjoy the convenience of online courses because I can work around my schedule. I organize my life around my school schedule. It works out perfectly for me. I can go to school in my pajamas :) Traditional classrooms aren't for me. The unique feature I like is that you can be in class and make dinner at the same time. The workload can be heavy sometimes, but I always finish it every week. The registration process was very smooth. They made everything really easy, filling out all the paperwork and FAFSA. The student/professor relationship can be very important and I have always had a pretty good relationship with my professors. They have been so nice, and they really care about my education, and that matters a lot to me. I have a great relationship with my peers also. We keep in touch, so if we need each other, we just email one another.

Career Services: There is really good post-grad services at my school. They help you find a job, and will help you with resume's and get you ready for an interview, so you can get a good job. In the career center, there is so much different material that can help you look for a job, get a job, and succeed at a job. They have a lot of things that help with interviews, resumes, and cover letters, to name a few.

Overall Experience: My experience with the courses I have taken are very helpful towards my criminal justice program. The professors are very knowledgeable and helpful when you need something whether your in class or not. They really want you to succeed. The quality of courses is awesome. The courses I need to take for my program are very interesting and full of information. The class sizes are just perfect, I don't feel like I am overwhelmed in class by too many people. They are just perfect.

Overall Experience: Career prospects look really good for me when I am ready to look for employment. I would like to get an internship job with my local police department or sheriffs office to help with cold cases, or anything I can do to help. That is what I would like to do in the long term. I want to be a cold case detective. There is a very good career center/services with the college, I am just not quite ready for their help yet. I am waiting until I am done with school before I start employment.

Academic Experience: I love my criminal justice major, and every seminar is so exciting. The crime scene investigations class I am taking right now is my favorite. I get to make up mock murder scenes and take pictures of dead bodies (husband), evidence, shoe prints and fingerprints are fun, as well as car accidents, etc. It is a very fun class, and I am learning so much. Some classes there is a lot of work to get done in a week, but I always get it done on time. I am very organized, and I pace myself so I get everything done in a timely manner.

Overall Experience: I have the best professors. I have learned so much. My favorite class so far is Criminal scene investigations II. The professor who teaches it is awesome, and makes learning so much fun. I would definitely choose Kaplan again, and tell all my friends and family to choose Kaplan, because of the overall care that they give to all of their students. They care about what happens to their students, and they make sure you understand each and every thing that is being taught in class. I love taking classes online because it is so convenient for me. I just graduated with my Associate Degree of Applied Science in Criminal Justice in June, and I am back at Kaplan to get my Bachelor's Degree. I love it here, and I would never go anywhere else.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I prefer on-line over traditional. I have never been a social butterfly. I also have a very full personal and work life that I have to negotiate at the same time as my school workload. I like the Wednesday to Tuesday week they utilize.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love the set up of their on-line courses. A week for each unit. Even the seminars that are the only scheduled part of class is still flexible for unforeseen occurences.

To the many students who are furthering their careers and goals in life, Kaplan lives up to its mission. The University is a great option for students who would be unable to attend a traditional brick-and-mortar school because it would conflict with their schedules. The majority of students say the experience of attending the Kaplan University has been great, and it has even been emotional for some because they have been able to meet goals they thought were not achievable in the past. The University provides the best possible services to students, and many students say that if they had to make the choice of attending the University again, they would. One reason regularly mentioned is the professors—students say they have been taught by the greatest and have access to knowledge written by successful authors, businessmen and women, and many other people who have made large impacts on society.

Kaplan University paves the way for students to enter into a successful career and give the students the responsibility of taking the information they’ve learning and running with it. Students are able to learn what they have always wanted to learn at Kaplan, and then feel secure and ready to be accomplished after attending the University. The sense of self-worth is a major impact from higher learning and many say they are ready to get their feet wet or step it up a notch in their current career after finishing a degree from Kaplan University!
