5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I currently attend Kalamazoo Valley Community College, and the campus is fantastic. It has a big library that looks out into the woods, an almost brand new Fitness Center and awesome faculty that really care about you and your college career.

5 College Student

Campus Resources: The people at the library are very friendly, as well as the staff within the tech labs.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: It is not the worst, but it has room for improvement.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: They could hire people who are more understanding

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: KVCC has the greatest variety of resources that I've seen at a community college. They have a great fitness center with treadmills, really solid bikes, nautilus machines, and a free weight room. The librarians are helpful. There are always activities going on such as yogic breathing, transfer seminars, and healthy living tips. The Student Success Center is superb. Advocates are available to help students who need to learn better study skills or that need help with anything besides picking classes. Some of the academic counselors also do wellness counseling. There is a life resources department which helps students find things like housing, daycare, or health insurance. The career appointments are an hour and a half. The strengths department provides an assessment that tells students about their individual strengths and how to out them to use. Also, the campus is really picturesque.
