Overall Experience: Our school is unique because of the atmosphere and community surrounding the school. The people in school and around school are so nice and welcoming and it really gives you that home away from home feeling when you arrive. It's nice to be accepted into a large community and treated like you've been there your whole life.

Overall Experience: I think Judson is unique in a sense that the professors and staff really try to get to know you on a personal level. I enjoy the atmosphere and community. Sometimes the small school size can be a bit much but overall it's a good school.

Overall Experience: I love my college. It has a great community that is very supportive. The teachers and small classes make learning a fun and challenging experience. The religious basis of my school is also very great and helpful. This school has taught me a lot and even built me up as a person.

Overall Experience: It's a great school that has a lot of personal attention and actual caring for your spiritual growth. How there is worship and music business courses offered makes this the perfect school for me that is close enough to home so I can save money by commuting.

Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus is a must. If you truly want to experience college then you need to get an apartment off campus. There you will be able to do what you want and engage with the opposite sex in social activities and be able to have a party or two and not have to worry about people wandering around and barging in and ruining the fun.

1 College Sophomore

Party Scene: There is absolutely nothing to do on the weekends. If you want to have a good time you need to leave campus and go to someone's apartment to engage in social activity.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Very few places to get a late night snack.

2 College Sophomore

Administration: The fact that you can only have the opposite sex in the room if the door is open and your feet are on the ground is absurd. Although this is a Christian University, you should be able to close the door and lay down on a bed or couch without needing to keep your feet on the ground. Also they need to extend the hours and days that you can have the opposite sex in your dorm.

Campus Food: For the most part the food is enjoyable. Although they repeat the same meals every week and rarely switch it up I can still tolerate it somewhat. They need to incorporate a subway on campus or in the caf as that will provide some diversity and provide happiness among the students. Also as for the athletes that participate in sports on the weekends and would like to grab breakfast before leaving or preparing for a game but are unable to because the caf opens "brunch" around 12. This is way too late because athletes are already gone and on their way to their events. They need to have breakfast available for athletes on the weekends.

Scholarships: The financial office was difficult to handle at times but they were able to get the job done and give me the aid that I needed.

Campus Housing: The dorm is decently sized but there are very few things to do in the dorms. There are three televisions in the so called lounge areas but the remotes never work or are always missing. The game room is very subpar as the pool table has cracked balls and pool cues. The ping pong table is broken and the net is ripped as well. The cost of living is a bit high as the rooms aren't the greatest and the social atmosphere is very weird.

Off-Campus Dining: Alexander's Cafe has great meals and great deserts, and is only 1-2 minutes from campus.

Al's Cafe has great ice cream and is a cute little downtown restaurant.

There are always places (think typical fast food) you can go to eat if you want to in the middle of the night, but you will need a car.

Administration: They are strict in many things. If it is something that could potentially hurt you (drinking, drugs, etc), they care more about it and it is enforced. If it is something that does not hurt you (noise violations, attendance, parking) they are more likely to give warnings rather than take action against you.

I think they have good judgement when it comes to our safety.

Scholarships: The financial aid process was easy enough. All the staff here is very helpful in trying to get you as much money as you need to come here. They told you about scholarships offered that you could apply for and they answered any questions you had.

I would recommend if you were concerned about financial aid you set up a meeting. Don't hesitate to ask questions or see if there are scholarships you can get.

Campus Food: The cafeteria has their good days and bad days as far as food goes, but the staff is very nice and some of them know your name.

They accommodate for any allergies and offer vegetarian choices.

Jerry's Cafe has good coffee and tea; they are like a little Starbucks.

There is also Riverside Cafe with soda, candy bars, wraps and other snacks. Here you can spend "Eagle Bucks" which are given to you with a meal plan.

Campus Housing: I love the atmosphere here! The people are great! Ohio Hall (freshman girls dorm) is friendly looking and decorated nicely, and there rest of the dorm buildings are too.

The only problems I have had about location is Lindner Tower is a little further away from the rest of the campus, so on rainy days (or really cold days) you dread the 5-10 minute walk over there.

For what we are getting I think the cost is adequate. The beautiful friendships I have made because of living on campus are worth much more than any price tag.

Athletics: the sports programs give goo scholarships

2 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Unless you're living with your parents-- you shouldn't live off campus

3 College Senior

Administration: Campus safety is a joke. The only thing they do is open locked classrooms and give out parking tickets

3 College Senior

Campus Food: Make sure to eat on preview days-- they up their game!

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: There is very very few reports of crime on campus, it almost doesn't exist. Judson is a very friendly and safe campus, everyone feels very secure being there.

4 College Senior

Athletics: Although there is no track field, track is a big sport at Judson. It is hard to train for track with no track. Soccer is another big part as well as baseball and basketball. All sports are fun and popular.

3 College Senior

Local Area: It is located in Elgin which is a fairly big city with lots to do. There are many different parts of Elgin and many restaurants to attend. It's an okay place to go to school.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: The school only offers a certain amount for grants and scholarships. The financial aid department give you a list of outside sources to pursue on your own if you need more assistance, other then that they don't really help.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: As I had been hear, the athletics at my school sounds great, the way that it inspired me to join in one of them
