Campus Housing: It can get loud sometimes. Bathrooms aren't always clean.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: I do not follow Greek life much.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: A lot of games on campus. Most people attend them and they tend to announce games often

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Very enjoyable. Fun to be at. Educational.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I believe that student involvement in athletics is high due to high school athletes who don't have the opportunity to play a varsity level sport in college.

Health & Safety: Rare to have crime, security at all hours.

Overall Experience: I have not yet attended.

Athletics: The horseback riding facility is great.

Health & Safety: I have to begin by correcting Great to Good. I think it could use a lot of work safety wise in the Transportation availability aspect, more so to The Cove and Renaissance residences, especially at night. To get to either residence hall, one must pass a few of the most highly sketchy areas in mid-city Providence. Health Services are fantastic, They give great advice, offer walk-ins, and make themselves as available as they can to all students and their crazy schedules they have because of the school's standard operations.

Overall Experience: I'm happy with my college experience, I just wish school in general wasn't so expensive so I wouldn't have felt the need to rush through it just to pay less. I would have loved to have felt I could of taken the time to enjoy my college years. But for what I've been able to see and do I feel like I've accomplished a lot, just not always enough though others always say they have no idea how I do everything I've done and still manage to keep my grades up in Dean's List status.

Campus Housing: I love the Cove and the sense of living in your own apartment. I love having the ability to cook for myself when I need to and more closely manage my money by buying my own groceries. The main thing I don't particularly care for is the BUS SCHEDULE! Its timing is all off, mostly late, or unknown if it's making a secondary stop at Renny before Xavier Academic Hall and then Gaebe. John Hazen White is no longer a stop due to construction, but it should require a 5 min earlier P/U time from the cove, direct route to afford walking distance in the time consideration. The Cove/Renny bus would operate just fine if it ran every 5/10minutes like the bus to Harborside. We are so far from the main campus we should be considered an extension or separate. The other downside is that if you are not heavily involved in the clubs and orgs of campus, you are out of the loop entirely. Upside, you ARE more in tune with city life and real-world experience away from the college crowd. More grown-up atmosphere. And the halls RARELY smell like weed, it's wonderful to be able to breathe CLEAN air.

Greek Life: I generally think Greek Life is the worst idea in history and has been polluted by media influencing all aspects, no matter the intended outcome. I find people fall too easily into the standard suppositions of sorority girls and frat guys. It's possible to make friends, treat them like family, and not expect them to conform to an organizational standard way of being. People change after they become a Greek, and it never changes them for the complete better. I've only ever met one person in my life that has consistently stayed loyal and generally a good person after becoming a Greek. Originally from the south I think her southern hospitality stuck stronger than imposed expectations. But overall, I think they set a bad example and even any charity work they do becomes another form of marketing themselves, never truly for the party at need.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I don't pay any attention to athletics. I think they offer sufficient areas for those that do participate in those extra curricular activities. I, however, do not make use of those amenities.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have found you get out of it as much as you put in. If you meet the academic and career advisors halfway they are more than willing to meet you the rest and help you on your journey. If you even attempt to go above and beyond, they will be your biggest cheerleader and move heaven and earth to help get you there. But I've also discovered that if you think about it, really think about it, if you don't put in 100% percent you will never find the people that care as much as you wish they would. Be persistent, do that extra step, keep going even if you aren't rewarded for your efforts through positive results or recognition. It will come in small ways you didn't expect. But throwing yourself out there no matter how much you want to give up, helps. I hate what I have to go through everyday to get to where I know I'll love what I do. But because I can recognize both sides of that spectrum, I've been successful in accomplishing many things I never even thought I'd start and have integrated myself in with the right people to help me get there through my persistence and tenacity. I do think the school's organizational skills and ability to understand the new and uncertain's student perspective could improve. More guidance or a "crash course" in HOW to approach someone to get instruction could be a really useful thing not just for getting around on campus, but for getting around in our careers, and life in general.

Overall Experience: The chefs here are passionate and amazing. The culinary program is an amazing program to be a part of. Communication between departments and staff is very poor and it makes it hard to get things done. The area is sketchy at times.

Health & Safety: The safety and security on campus is actually pretty good the service responds quick. When the schedule for the wildcat buses has ended a safety and security employee with bring you to were you need to go. I feel pretty safe on campus.

Overall Experience: The courses are pretty hard depending on your field of study. The English department professors are great they offer a'lot of help when needed. Math and science courses are not easy but the professors offer help when needed. Engineering classes are extremely hard! But it depends on your professor. If you have a professor that wants you to do good they will do everything in there power to help you and make themselves available for you. But if you have a professor that just gives you work and expects you to know it over night the class is not going to be easy. Also if they are not available to help you more than 3 times a week you are going to struggle with there course. The quality of the courses isn't to bad it all depends on how the professor presents the course. On thing that is great is the variety of classes offered the classes are very diverse.
