5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Love my college so far!

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Though I love all the opportunities and extra curricular activities that my school offers, I found myself disappointed with the character of many of my peers and their interests in mainly partying and drinking. I feel that overall the quality of the students at my school are sub-par, many of whom do not take school very seriously.

Overall Experience: I absolutely love the college I am attending, I've learned so much and I truly enjoy going to class.

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Have a lot of small places over priced, they don't offer a lot of things included. Not worth living off campus if you go to Johnson and Wales.

Off-Campus Dining: they have a lot of fast food restaurants around so if your not a picky or wicked healthy eater you should be fine. Also can only eat off campus if you have the money.

Administration: They say their strict but they try to hide alot of things that happen. They want their school to look like the best.

Campus Food: the pizza in each location is literally soggy and full of oil.The options are limited and you have to keep going up to get the same food if you wanted more then one slice they wouldn't give it to you.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: They dont care if you cant afford the college, they just want their money. They make sure they get you stuck in a bill one way or another

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The rooms are very small to have a roommate. The worst thing is using commuter bathrooms because people leave messes everywhere.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: It gets old over time. Drinking is good. Weed is too common a thing here.

3 College Junior

Administration: They are okay. They are present when the RAoC needs them. Depending on who is on-call can decipher how leniant or strict of a night it may be.

Campus Food: Marketplace and Snowden trade off at which have better food, but there are several times a week where all the food is disgusting and we have to resort to something. Starbucks is consistent, but I don't want snacks for dinner. Starbucks is wicked expensive anyway. Breakfast is done right, most of the time. The idea to have the culinary kids make the food is creative and useful considering this is a culinary school, too, but hiring non-culinary students to work the dining halls ruins the food more often than not. Everyone is trained as though they are culinary majors which is NOT THE CASE.

Scholarships: I received what I thought was a significant amount of financial aid, but in reality, it wasn't a lot. My mother and I had to pay a few visit to Student Financial Services because the whole process is so confusing, and we had special technoicalities that made the process 10X more challenging. This school is more expensive than it has to be, to be honest, especially when taking into account the housing.

Campus Housing: I thoroughly enjoyed living in Xavier Hall. It is one of the worst quality dorm given how old it is compared to the newer dorms, but it served as one of the more affordable housing options. The residents were extremely friendly. Because we housed a significantly smaller number of residents, it felt more like a community. I knew every resident in my hall and was friendly with mostly all of them. I could not have selected a better hall for my freshman year. It swayed my college experience to be better than it could have ever been. The interior design is hideous, and the fact that there is no AC is a bummer, but the outside looks dope.

Campus Housing: Compared to what I thought about living on campus, and what they showed me when I first looked at the Campus. My expectations were highly disappointing. The cost to live on campus is over 11,000 for 9 months, which is ridiculous. I am happy that I am living off campus so that I don't have to worry about getting another loan.

Campus Food: there are little options for food choices but the best one to me is city burger.

4 College Senior

Scholarships: they help you all the way through and even send you reminders. they give you a lot of the financial aid you may need.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: the housing on campus is small, outdated, and expensive.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: JWU has a huge party scene and that tends to get people in a lot of trouble at times

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Providence is one of the best foodie cities in the country so needless to say off campus food is really great

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Johnson & Wales isnt that strict with things and people respect that

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Johnson & Wales is so expensive and its difficult to find money to pay for it all

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Marketplace has the best food on campus and has the greatest staff

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Campus housing at Johnson and Wales is great. I love living on campus
