4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Transferring was an easy process.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: professors were helpful and there when a questions was needed to be answered.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I have not had any experience with job prospects or the career center.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I had one amazing professor, other than that the professors were okay to horrible. They did not listen to our input at first and blammed us for 8 people failing out. The class sizes are a great size, not too big!

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: At first my interview was great but after being in the program i feel needed information was left out and they in a way lied to us as students.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Academically we were set up for failure our first semester and i feel as if the information we were being taught was beyond our expected knowledge level. We lost quite a few students, around 8 our first semester due to one specific class.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Although John Wood Community College is affordable, I would not recommend their nursing program due to the lack of organization and professionalism. It was a great college to start pre-requisites and finish needed courses to obtain bachelors degree. I just have not had the greatest experience in the nursing program as a whole, there was on professor who i can say was passionate about her job and the success of her students.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not really had much experience at this point to determine.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Teachers are straight forward and expect you to know the material. Teachers are fair and award you with the grade you have earned.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Jobs in the health care field vary and are diverse. Health care is not a field that is going to lack in jobs any time soon.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Any hard science course, if it is a good course, may seem overwhelming at times with a high workload but that is how you know you are in a course that will prepare you for future endeavors.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I refreshed some of my courses before going into nursing. I was hesitant due to being a CC but the faculty and staff were great but expected you to do your part. Other schools I have been to baby their students so much that it takes away from the students that want to be there and learn.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: They have options to make you schedule between work and family be successful with education.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: Online Courses are better than presidential classes.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: People was nice even when the education was not as good as expected.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I think the aspects of organization are well organized, just need to improve the level of hardness in education.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: They need to work in their programs.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The school is okay, they need to work on some aspects of the education because some times are really easy. However, the environment is really familiar and people are really kind and friendly, that is a positive point.

2 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I met some of the meanest boys during my time at woodberry. The school is a frat and has hazing like a college frat. It is overlooked by the teachers and the freshman feel like they deserve it. The school is southern at heart and the students may carry knives to class and have them on dorm, but they have to be under 5 inches. The atmosphere was something I regret being a part of and still regret in my older age. The school may be right for those more traditionally southern, but to anyone else beware. The school is changing with their new headmaster, but I can not say if they are changing fast enough.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I feel like the first semester should have more than one engineering class.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I had a bad experience at my other college so when I came to this college I was greeted with tons of help and support from everyone.

2 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: My math class interferes with my work schedule.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: The students and staff make school fun

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It's a community college, so it could only give me a head start.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Some of the teachers are wonderful, but if you need a teacher in front of you don't take online classes; they will confuse you.
