Overall Experience: This school offers great degrees that are worth the time, money, effort, and will let you do something you love when you finish school!

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Nursing is definitely affordable, unless you're financially struggling like myself. It is a great career!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I am suppose to be starting this fall for nursing, i enrolled in a nursing program and General Education of John Tyler, and it was quick and easy, the people are very friendly and understanding!

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I was able to transfer credits to and from this school to the four year college I also attended. It was easy, and I was able to avoid retaking classes unnecessarily.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I have taken several online courses and enjoyed all of them. Professors answered questions quickly, the assignments were relevant and the workload was reasonable.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are small, and professors are willing to help and answer questions when you need them. The courses have been informative and organized well.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It depends on why you are attending school, but overall I believe the experiences are valuable. I will be able to network while in school, and will be set up for success in obtaining a job when my degree is complete.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: I took an sdv class and it was basic knowledge. I usually take on campus classes.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The class sizes are small compared to large universities. I had 28 people in my history class and that's the largest class I've had. Some of the professors admit to only being there to get paid, while few others actually care about teaching you what you need to know for your career. There are a large variety of classes offered but good luck getting into them. Most of the time, there isn't a professor to teach so you can't even take the class

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: They don't do much about careers or internships at all. Granted, im a freshman so that says a lot, but I've seen one career fair and it was super lame.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: John Tyler doesn't offer my specific major so they placed me In a general studies program. Therefore, I won't use much of the general studies in my actual career.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: This school is a community college so everyone commutes. There is no food on campus other than a few vending machines in one building! Attendance is mandatory but most of the professors are super cool.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: duel enrollment has given me free credits, its very helpful

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors know what they are talking about and will help you if you ask for help.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: If you are looking for an inexpensive and easy way to take classes, John Tyler is the way. The professors all have taught/still teach at other universities so they are actually great professors. They will help you if you need help. There is not a ton of socializing because most people come to class then leave right after.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Someone is always available when I have questions, comments or concerns.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Being able to complete course work online allows me to work at my own pace and still be available to work my full time job

5 College Junior

Career Services: I have had so many questions about transferring my credits to a four year university and the academic advisors have helped me take the correct courses for a successful transfer.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: All of my professors have been incredibly friendly, informed on their subjects, and have the students at mind always. The class sizes never surpassed a comfortable learning environment.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have worked with multiple staff members at the school and none have failed to inform me on the opportunities available to me.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The courses offered to me at my high school have pushed me to try harder than ever before. The academic information is spectacular and truly challenges students. There has not been a day when I learned nothing new.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Since I began Dual Enrollment courses through JTCC, the staff have been incredibly friendly and helpful. We high school students have been offered the exact same benefits as those students who attend classes on campus. Staff members make it their goal to make every student have a unique experience.
