Campus Food

Campus Food: I like the tween but eating in the caf every day twice a day is awful after a semester. i stick to bagels and cereal

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: Overall, the food here is alright. The Caf always has a good variety, but sometimes the way it is prepared is not the best. Once you get to the spring semester, the food gets old and starts to make you miss home-cooked meals a lot. The InnBetween is always a good option, the food there is different and they have quick and easy options. Einstein's is a good place to go for a good breakfast. The price for food here, no matter where you go, is too high and not worth it.

Campus Food: minus the expensive food cooked at innbetween the food on campus is awful

Campus Food: Easily the second worst part about JCU (following parking). The caf food is passable, and that is probably being friendly. For the price, the quality is pretty poor. Also, there are times where the food isn't even prepared well (especially the chicken). I feel as though they skimp big time on quality simply because it is a buffet style.

The Inn Between is great though. Food tastes really good and as long as you don't go at a busy time, you can get in and out really quickly. The Meal Swipes thing is cool and I think they're expanding that.

Einstein's is perfect in between classes. They're the best workers on campus too! Great bagels, sandwiches, and coffee. Couldn't be in a better location either.

The Cubby also makes good milkshakes and specialty coffee drinks late at night.

Campus Food: There is few meal variety in the cafeteria. Only near holidays do you see something unique. The cafeteria food taste like my local high school food. The only thing that taste relatively good is in the in-between and Einsteins (although Einsteins likes to overcharge).

Most students are somewhere in the middle about the food at John Carroll. Although the dining hall food may be better than offerings at other schools, most students wish there were more options. Schott Dining Hall is very nicely built and has some variety, but all of the food seems to be soaked in grease or covered in salt before being served. The best food on campus is at Einstein Bros. Bagels, Java City, and the Inn Between, so basically everywhere but the dining hall. Not having 24-hour food locations is probably one of the biggest complaints on campus. Students wish they could find something to eat late at night without leaving campus.

Despite all of the negative talk about the dining hall, Schott does have its good days. The best foods are the pierogies, the mac and cheese, Buffalo chicken wraps, ravioli, and grilled cheese.
