JSU has a pretty good variety of places to eat. However, use caution when choosng a meal plan. Most freshmen get tired of the dining hall in a hurry, especially when they pick a plan that has them eating there twice a day. Overall the food is very good, and meal plans are very useful if you will be eating on campus a lot.
