2 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather in Jackson, Mississippi is so bipolar its ridiculous. One moment you walking to class and it's extremely cold and then by the time you leave your class it's beyond hot. The weather affects my HBCU experience because can't be outside as much as I want enjoying activities due to the outrageous weather. My umbrella can't even withstand the weather sometimes.

Weather: This past Winter, most of Alabama had a rather large snow storm for two weeks. Jacksonville State University was quick to close down the school and make sure students and faculty got home safely.

Weather: I love the bipolar weather

3 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is very bipolar. One day it is hot and one day it is freezing cold. Also, when it is in the fall time it is so hot that it makes someone want to jump into the pool everyday.

3 College Junior

Weather: To me the weather is fine. You honestly can't predict the weather so its usually no big deal. The weather won't detour me from my studies.

Southern states are known for unpredictable weather, and it could be humid or dry on any given day. Many days students have to guess what the weather will be like. The weatherman is not dependable when it comes to knowing what to expect from the weather.

Pack everything from your swimsuit to your expensive trench coat. During the morning you may start off wearing a coat, around noon, it will be time for shorts and flip flops. Jackson has the most confusing weather, so always be prepared for whatever.
