3 College Freshman

Online Courses: I don't feel like I learned anything nor do I feel that it wasted my time.

2 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I have struggled with every online class that I have taken through Jackson College. The instructions on the teachers home page are never clear. I pay a lot of money to sit on my computer and just be frustrated because I have no help with my assignments. I feel like I basically just have to figure everything out myself.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I have taken a few online courses at Jackson College and have been more than pleased with all of them. Some of the online courses I took I was a duel enrolled high school student and the work never seemed to interfere with my other classes. My professors were always quick to email me back whenever I needed any help and there was always a forum for students to ask and answer each others question about the class or the program. Being a commuter I love taking online courses to cut back on my gas expenses driving to the school more often than i need to. Due dates have always been reasonable and the school website (JetNet) is very easy to navigate.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: The course load for online classes more than that of in class courses. The assignments tend to be written in short vague sentences and when you do have a question you often don't get a response until the day or hour that the assignment is due. Hybrid classes, you often do not get questions to assignments that were due before the classroom portion of the class is finished until the end of class, resulting in a mark of a missed assignment. I do give some professors credit for giving extensions for assignments where questions couldn't be answered before the due date/time.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Does an okay job of teaching the material. However not as good as a traditional classroom in my opinion.
