Academic Flexibility: Jackson College, again, is usually a two year school you go to then transfer. Therefore, they are very excellent at making that happen.

Academic Flexibility: Jackson College is very flexible and great for those with a busy schedule. Many of the people who attend Jackson College work and have families to take care of. Jackson College offers night classes and also allows you to schedule different lab times based on your schedule in science classes. Jackson College also offers classes in different locations if you cannot drive to the main campus, advisers are always willing to help you figure out how to work around your busy schedule to keep you in school.

Academic Flexibility: I have had to take English 131 although I already have Credit in English 132 and 250 and 280 level Literature and writing courses, which already show I know how to write at the 131 level. I even offered to prepare a portfolio, or take their placement testing, but the English Department which is the ONLY department on campus that will not look at either of the placement, higher level courses from other institutions or a portfolio of writings to waive the 131 requirement. Thus, costing me more money and time that could have been spent taking one of the few core classes I need to complete my degree. Also my "Guidance Counselor" was supposed to look into several other courses that he felt should have transferred as core classes or been used to fill pre-requisite courses so I would have few courses to take and I have yet to hear from him almost a year later.

Academic Flexibility: Classes fill up very fast and there are very few choices. It's hard to get a class schduled on a day/time that is most convenient for you.

Academic Flexibility: My school provided me with four classes Monday-Thursday, so I can work night time and weekends.
