Academic Experience: The ASN Nursing program is certainly hard to get into!! It must be that way though, and I'm glad it is. It's just as competitive, if not more, than the Universities. We do clinicals at the same hospitals, learn the same materials. The teachers are all nurses- great ones, too. The cost is affordable for an associate's education. Workload is hard but that's nursing for ya! Sellersburg specifically includes a new facility and about the best clinical experiences you can get (out of all the ivy tech campuses.) -imo.

Overall Experience: The courses here at Ivy Tech are of the same quality as courses at Universities around Indiana. They literally have to be in order to transfer from institution to institution... but regardless of that, it even feels that way as well. I'm completely satisfied with Ivy Tech. You can't beat the cost.

Overall Experience: the faculty here are very supportive they go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. the classes are small so it is easier for you to get help from your instructor

Overall Experience: Online classes can be a joke depending on your teacher. The forced discussion boards are not helpful in the least. They are a total and complete waste of time for students and teachers!

Overall Experience: Ivy Tech is a great campus. Everyone is friendly, the teachers are very helpful, and it's a great experience for people who just aren't sure what they're doing with life or what university to go to.

Overall Experience: The classes in the Visual Communications portion are very small. the professors are excellent.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I haven't used the career services, but the Visual Communications program offers a portfolio class. This portfolio class is mandatory for all students, but the goal of the class is for all the students to have a job in the graphic design field by the end of it.

Academic Experience: I'm in the Visual Communication major. I haven't had a bad teacher here. All of the teachers in the program are very knowledgeable and passionate about their field. All of them have some sort of real-life experience, which is nice.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors here are great. They're very flexible and helpful. Class registration is very easy.

Online Courses: The registration process for online classes is easy. I had no problems there. I personally don't do well in online classes. The ones I've taken have been structured well and the professors were amazing. I just can't remember to turn in assignments on time. I also have problems learning online compared to a classroom setting.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very affordable. I really feel like the education I've paid for is worth very penny. The financial aid office really tries their best to help you pay for school.

Campus Resources: I use the library often here. The librarians are nice and it's a great place to study. The campus activities board is always busy planning something. They put together amazing events. The aesthetics on campus are awesome. For a community college, I didn't expect much, but the campus is clean and very beautiful

Academic Flexibility: I've really never had to compromise between family/work/school. If I really can't get an assignment done because of personal problems, talking to my teachers usually fixes the problem. Scheduling classes is really easy, too and there's plenty of classes to choose from

Student Body: The students at Ivy Tech are amazing. Everyone here is so friendly. If I ever need help with anything, whether it's help with homework or organizing something for the Art Club they're here to help.

Academic Flexibility: Night classes, online classes, and hybrids are available. Plus, there are multiple campuses within an hour's drive, so if you needed to, it would be possible to register through those campuses.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Everyone is there to advance their career and work hard. Everyone I've met is friendly.

Online Courses: Was not just an easy "coast" course. There were multiple required discussions every week that I really enjoyed!

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes are challenging. You really have to work hard, and I think that is a great thing.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are a lot of opportunities to get involved with the community.

3 College Junior

Campus Quality: The campus is small, but there is enough for what is needed. The science labs are great.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It is a great value, and I am receiving very good education.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the price of tuition is fair for the value of education I'm getting.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The classes are engaging and the right amount of workload. I really like the teachers, flexibility of class schedules and online class opportunities!

Student Body: The student body at Ivy tech is really great. It is a very diversified group.

Academic Experience: The courses available at my campus are often extremely limited (all of the humanities classes can be summed up in Music Appreciation, Art Appreciation, and Theater Appreciation.) There are some better choices available online through other campuses, but because of a program I am in, I am unable to take my courses online. Not much cultural diversity in academic programming. Some available and required courses may only have one meeting time.
