Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid is something I really struggle with. There are so many people in my classes that don't work and choose not to have a job and receive a free ride to college AND THEY EVEN RECEIVE MONEY BACK TO SPEND ON WHATEVER THEY WANT. This really upsets me for so many reasons. I was told that I wouldn't apply for any financial aid because my parents income is too much. However, I am paying for almost all of my college on my own, and yet I still receive no financial aid. On top of that, people receive free money back to spend on whatever they want, while I get nothing. This is something I really struggle with because here I am trying to better myself and become something in life and I get no help at all, while all these other people that don't deserve the money, get it.

Campus Resources: They offer a computer lab and student center. These are the two resources that the campus offer that I use on a regular basis.

Career Services: A main thing people go to ivy tech for is to get their LPN degree for nursing, which many people at this ivy tech successfully do.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses this semester, however I've heard nothing but great things about the course and can't wait to take classes this route next semester.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: People at ivy tech that I've interacted with are there to get their classes done for cheap and transfer to the college campus they really truly want to be at.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It's my first semester at Ivy Tech, and the closest I am to my specific major is anatomy and physiology 1. This class is difficult but there are many labs and opportunities to interact and have hands on learning.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Registration for Ivy Tech was simple and convenient. You went in, took about 20 minutes to establish your availability, the classes you wanted, and the load you're willing to take on.

Academic Flexibility: My experience at Ivy Tech has been okay. I wish more than anything I could afford to attend IUK. I'm paying for a huge majority of college on my own without the help of my parents, yet I still receive absolutely 0 financial aid because my parents income is too high for me to be eligible. In order to afford college, I am working 48 hours a week and sometimes have to miss classes to get extra income. When turning in homework the following class, some teachers are flexible and understanding of the situation, however others have no sympathy. I'm trying very hard to get my 12 transfer credits and as many scholarships as possible so I can transfer to Indina University Kokomo to pursue my nursing career.
