4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There is more work in some classes than in others, as is expected. None of it is busy work. All of it has been aimed @ helping us learn the required material.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: There are many day, afternoon, and evening classes available to choose from.

5 College Sophomore

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The class sizes are small. Teachers go above and beyond to help you to do well. The want you to succeed!

4 College Sophomore

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I cannot comment on this as I have not taken any online classes.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: We have a diverse population of students - financially stable to low income, various minority groups, students from of other nationalities, a multitude of religions, gay and lesbian students, and a transgender teacher. Everyone is tolerant of each persons differences.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is the lowest available in the area I live.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I cannot comment on this as it has not applied to me yet.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Great school for transfer students

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Advising intends to be helpful, but they just aren't the best with helping in individual situations. Classes are easy to schedule but often times there is only one or two meeting times each semester for each class.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's done a great job helping me get credits after leaving my previous university so I can transfer to a new university. However, I don't feel as if I would benefit much beyond the year I intend to be enrolled here.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Professors do an excellent job teaching the content and making the content easy to understand.

College Freshman

Overall Experience: Just doing core classes to transfer, won't be getting a degree from here.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: Online classes just aren't the same as in-person classes. The 8-week ones are more difficult as they're trying to cover 16 weeks of content in half the time.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Students are friendly but with no student organizations there's no real way to meet people with similar interests.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very affordable, a full Pell Grant will cover full time tuition and books with some given back to you as a refund. However, they hold your refund for 3-4 weeks in a bookstore account so you can buy books on their site only, which are extremely overpriced. If you have the money to buy books elsewhere, it's a far better deal and gets you a bigger refund, but most people can't do that. Your best bet with the financial aid office for info is to just go out there and talk to someone rather than calling the 800 number, so your detailed questions can be answered better.

2 College Freshman

Career Services: There are internships available if you've advanced enough in your specific program, otherwise they have jobs set aside for current students and graduates with local businesses. There's nothing too helpful though.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I'm in General Studies working on core classes to transfer. I'm happy with the experience but there aren't enough class options so I'll have to transfer sooner than I'd like to. I could get an associate in General Studies, but doing so would cause me to earn credits that wouldn't transfer, causing me to only be wasting time.
