5 College Junior

Online Courses: The workloads have been very easy to keep up with just like anything else in life you have to choose and maintain a schedule that works for you. Every on line class that I have taken has included discussion board giving an opportunity to learn how other students feel about the topics that we are learning about

5 College Junior

Career Services: I don't know too much about the post-grad services at this time I still have a while to go before I will be to that point. I do however feel that getting a job in my field will be no problem in this community

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I personally have benefited from the on line classes. I work two jobs and find it easier to get my work done as time permits with my own schedule. Not having to go to class works much better and I never have any trouble getting help when I need it from the advisers

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I think that once you complete your education at this school you will be able to get a job in your field with no problem. I believe that there are a lot of internship prospects and there are a lot of job openings in this area

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am earning an associates degree in human services there are a lot of programs in this community and on campus that help with my goal

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have completed three semesters and have never had an issue getting help when I needed it

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Being at Ivy Tech is a great place to start your first year of college since you're barely getting a hand at the "college experience" you soon realize area that need improving while handling college.

Online Courses: Online classes are similar to face-to-face classes, except you complete the work on your own schedule.

Career Services: All regions have a career services center which help with resumes and interviews. There is an alumni network for Ivy Tech grads, but I think the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society alumni association is better.

5 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: The classes are offered both online and face-to-face, so you can choose whichever format you prefer. Classes are offered multiple times per week. Also, Ivy Tech has dozens of campuses which offer the same curriculum, meaning you can go to face-to-face classes that are close to home.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Ivy Tech only offers Associate's degrees, which means that some careers will be out of reach. But, the credits transfer to 4-year colleges. Ivy Tech's lower cost for classes means that you can start a degree at Ivy Tech and finish a bachelor's at a 4-year college, which can save thousands of dollars.

Academic Experience: I majored in Business Administration and Liberal Arts. The classes are easy enough if you attend all classes and read the entire textbook. Some internships are available, although you have to ask.

5 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Ivy Tech is affordable. The teachers are very friendly and engaging. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and are quick to offer assistance and answer questions.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I have just finished my program and about to start my internship for the summer. We have had several great opportunities in this program, such as working at free dental days. I learned so much, and plan to go for my associate's degree this year!

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: I think Ivy Tech is great because you get the same great education for a much lower cost!

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are about of business's who come to job fairs at ivy tech and some offer internships to students still working on their degrees.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are many classes available and most of the professors are amazing.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: Professor to student experience with online classes was very bad for me. I took a online communication class out of a differemt campus and the professor who was suppose to be a communication teacher was terrible at communication. She never updated us on anything.

3 College Junior

Career Services: There are plenty of post grad options. This school has constant career fairs and internships.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I havent gotten into the program yet but so far the prerequisite courses have been very helpful.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like this school because there are small class sizes and the teachers are usually very helpful and its very cheap?

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The classes I've taken so far have been pretty easy.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Tuition is very low. Class sizes are small. They offer tons of opportunities for free tutoring

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: Its relatively easy to get into, cheap and flexible and you get what you need to our of it to pursue a successful career. They also have a great program called ASAP for those wanting to get through college as quickly and cheaply as possible with plenty of help and are willing to put in tons of work. The biggest issue with the school is the lack of a social life an campus considering many of the students are nontraditional (i.e. older).

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I chose Ivy Tech mostly because it is close to home and is cheap. Since I am paying for school by myself and I am not eligible for twenty first scholars I wanted to go somewhere that has a reasonable price. If I had the chance to do it over I would still choose Ivy Tech.
