Ithaca College has helped me tremendously in the financial department. I wouldn't have been able to attend this wonderful school if I didn't receive the grants and scholarships from them. With the help from the school, I was able to have amazing experiences, meet memorable people, and learn an immense amount of substantial information pertaining to my major. I suggest getting your FAFSA application done early so it can be processed quickly. Also, check the website before you enroll and check out the scholarships they provide for incoming freshman and transfer students. They will definitely help aid you in your financial process!

Cost was definitely one of the most important factors for me when it came down to choosing a college. Although I initially attended a more expensive university, I ended up transferring to Ithaca College because it was much more affordable for my undergraduate degree. If you have strong grades and extra-curriculars from high school, chances are you'll be eligible for some merit scholarships. On-campus jobs seem to be pretty plentiful, which can help to cover tuition or living expenses. Ithaca College is also quite generous with need-based aid, which covered a large portion of my tuition. Although scholarships didn't cover my entire tuition, they covered a very substantial amount, especially considering the cost of college nowadays. My best piece of advice is to devote some time to searching the school website for scholarship listings and information! There are tons of opportunities to apply for additional scholarships, and it's well worth it to spend some time writing a few scholarship essays. Chances of winning a school scholarship are much better than winning a national scholarship.

I think everyone is awesome! Especially if you're involved with Athletics. I play volleyball and I have made a lot of friends through that connection to volleyball and the athletics program as a whole. A lot of us are friends and support one another at games and such. Overall I think the students that attend Ithaca are pretty attractive and there is definitely a certain style.. LL bean boots, flannels, leggings, and a north face vest is probably one of the most sported outfits here. I'm not complaining though because a lot of what is considered cute and fashionable is also very comfortable.
