Tuition & Financial Aid: The only reason I give this rating is because it doesn't come easy for me to pay for the necessary finances. Before, since I received little help from my parents, I wasn't eligible for scholarships, but now since I am no longer receiving monetary help from them, I plan on going back to see if there are more opportunities so that I can better afford college.

Academic Experience: Even though I am still in the beginning part of the program, I have enjoyed every bit of it so far! The classes are fun with ample resources for help if you need extra time on something. There is enough variety in class schedules so that I can still make some money for school, and take night classes. As soon as I am a bit further in the program, I plan on applying to the internships/jobs available on the "job board."

Academic Experience: So far, all of the teachers that I have had are actually very engaging, making class time fun and not just sitting in a room, watching the time go by. The workload sometimes can seem like much, but with classes and teachers I enjoy, it almost makes doing all the homework and studying fun. I know... weird to say.

Campus Resources: With the personnel that I have come in contact with in the Student Center, everyone seems very pleasant and genuine. It seems like they really do care about you and want you to succeed. Counselors, though wait time can take a good chunk out of your day, try work out a plan that fits best for you, not just what they think would be the "better thing to do." The library is one of my favorite, having many workstations with state of the art computers, printers, and a plethora of books. The one thing I would like to see improved though is the financial aid program. It is quite difficult to comprehend and almost just seems overwhelming and impossible to get monetary aid if you are not a 4.0 student.

Overall Experience: I would definitely choose IVC again if I can do it all over, because it is very peaceful and full of friendly students and of helpful centers and because professors have taught me well.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My experience here in IVC has been fantastic, professors I have gotten are really helpful and taught me what I have to know the class sizes are good and the courses are great as well.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: IVC offers a lot of jobs for students and offers a lot of centers where one can go do homework , projects etc. and get help from the staff too.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have not had any online courses only math homework online and it seems very helpful.

4 College Junior

Student Body: All I can say is that everyone gets along with everyone they do not care about your ethnicity, and that's what I love about IVC.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition and financial aid are very good I got to apply for the board of governors fee waiver and that helped me a lot because classes are expensive and I did not have the money for my classes. I only pay for the books or other things I need as well but I am happy because I got major help on money for the classes.

Career Services: In the students center and in other workshops where one can get help with our homework or on things we do not understand the professors are very helpful as well. They all help you achieve where ever it is you need help in.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: As of right know I have not yet began classes that resemble my major I have only been doing math and writing and so far so good.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have not yet joined any type of activities or clubs but as I see them around it looks like the teachers, coaches, etc. are very friendly and helpful as well as letting the students know what they have to do in order to achieve and do well with college in with the community.

Campus Resources: Everyone I've in college is quite friendly and very helpful as well. The teachers have really taught me what I need to learn. They are very helpful as well and know what they are doing.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall, IVC is not a terrible college. I appreciate it's accessibility and location to my home, and I appreciate the professors I have come to meet. I have learned things here that I know will be applicable to my future, and I have learned things that may never be used. Overall, I have had a good year here at IVC

2 College Sophomore

Student Body: There are not very many academically minded students here

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I qualify for the Board of Governor's fee waiver program, so my classes here at IVC are cost free. Except of course, textbooks and online programs I have to purchase each Semester, which run me $300-400. Not including the astronomical parking permit fees. . .

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Haven't taken any literature classes that I felt were entirely useful or helpful to my major.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have the upmost respect for some of my teachers, and the others are so-so... It depends on how well the professors are able to approach subjects that determines the student's ability to grasp them.

College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Academic flexibility has not been something I can apply to my schedule - but perhaps this is self-inflicted as I take many units per semester and work two jobs trying to support myself and my family of 9.

2 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I don't particularly care for online courses, they are not very convenient for me.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Not really able to say anything, as I am working towards transferring soon.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I haven't personally utilized the Career Services at this school.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Campus Resources are limited. Very much open to improvement, I'd say.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The diversity is mostly Asians
