3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would have chosen to go to the Art Institute.

4 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have no complaints about the tuition and financial aid

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major is Fashion Design, and my program is Perfect for my needs and wants. My Program helped me better my People, Business and Sewing skills. The Workload is awesome. I love hands on projects,it's better for me. I get great ideas in all my classes. Whenever i do hands on projects, it feels like a one on one internship.

Campus Resources: Like i said before, the smaller classrooms make it easier to learn and set us apart from others. Having instructors that have worked in the field makes it better to learn.

Academic Experience: The fashion design program use to be only offered at certain schools but it seems that it's offered everywhere now. However, our classes are good because of how small they are; you get more time with the instructor if needed. The work can be a little overwhelming, especially during finals; making three or more garments is time consuming. They mostly do not think about the students who have to work a real job outside of school, they only care if you get your work done.

Academic Experience: The instructors are great here! I've learned so much from them. Them working in the field that they teacher is a great learning experience. Some of the classes i've have to take for my BA degree feel like a repeat and a waste of time. Registering for classes use to be easy and now they've made it difficult, you can't even pick what you want online anymore.

Campus Resources: The computers are sort of up to date. Programs are up to date. Although, sometimes i find a few computers with some programs uninstalled and it's difficult to reinstall them. But overall the computers work and have what i need to research and do work on.

Campus Resources: This school is not like a campus and i didn't expect it to be but our student lounge is lacking student expression. People hang out more in the library and make lots of noise when this is an area of study. I also feel that since we do not have sports here, that it would be nice to have some sort of gym.

Campus Resources: I enjoy the campus resources when they are available to me. Sometime though the computers in the library are full but there are other resources I can use while waiting or instead of computers.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: You have computers, tutors, books, and other resources. The only problem is it's sometimes hard to know which ones to use. For example, there is a number of classes you go through without even using the books.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: It's just not the same as being physically there. That said, the do everything they can to make it as close to that as possible. There are scheduled online lectures during which you can communicate with the instructor and other students through a chat box and the lectures are recorded for you to see later in case you missed it or wish to review. You can also communicate through E-mail and assignments are easy to turn in. If you don't understand how to turn it in, you only need to ask and it will be explained.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The problem with them is they spend a lot of time looking for problems with your finances and don't help too much with finding solutions. They give you a couple options here and there, but the don't bother helping beyond that unless you hold their hand through it.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The school is capable with scheduling to help meet the students' needs, but they don't exactly go out of their way to accomplish this. If you wish to make an appointment, there is a schedule you need to place it in and time slots will not open just for your sake even if nothing that person isn't doing anything then. I suppose this is understandable to some degree, but sometimes this kind of rule needs to be broken. Still, they do offer things like private classes as well.

3 College Senior

Student Body: The student body is very diverse and almost always willing to help when asked for it. They also tend to be friendly and during what times they don't have work to do they love hanging out with people. The only problem I can think of is, although it's not very strong, there seems to be a small dividing line between students based on the major they are in for.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Good sample library and computers/software. Average use of facilities as they closed the school pretty early when most of us needed more time on the computers during finals.

2 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: Average demographic. Met a lot of lazy students who weren't too concerned about succeeding in school and were uninterested in design. Didn't meet too many people with a passion for the subject.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The school does provide a good number of resources for it's students. The problem is that a lot of times, you're bound to forget what those resources are as you aren't told about them unless you ask in detail or they basically become your only options.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I've received an amazing education at IADT. I have learned a lot about my self and my chosen career. The teachers I've had really inspired me and for the most part encouraged me to do my best

Overall Experience: I Like My School – I am happy with my choice to go to this school. The only thing they need to improve on is communication. When something changes we need a heads up before they are made. Overall my school is a good fit more my needs. The classes are small which is a positive thing for me. The instructors are very passionate in what they do, and have a lot of experience in the particular subject that they teach. My school gives opportunities for open lab to complete your projects out of class time. There are workshops in each field of study that we can attend to for more knowledge.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: Network Issues – There have been a lot of problems with our school online portal which can lead to not being able to log on, or the program being down. My school has problems with the internet being slow. Most of the instructors will understand when these problems and will excuse you from assignments being late.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The Environment – my experience has been k. the schol is far out and hard to get to. the classes are very rushed and its hard to catch up

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Hey...What Can You Do – iadt is an ok school but its so expensive and i think if they took down tuition a little, they'd have a lot more students than they already have. and alot of loans arent even associated with iadt. therefore, its hard to take out loans.
