Majors: Challenges: are not being able to speak with a professor face to face, 5 weeks long each course.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: I am only receiving private student loans and I cant afford school

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Not much, but enough. Just look around good and theres enough variety

Local Area: With Marion, there's not much to do. But get with a good group of people and even Marion can be fun.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Certain halls are definitely better than others, so if you can get into those, great. Other dorms though? not so much.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Visitation rules for underclassman dorms are very strict. Tohos and lodges not so much, but its still not great.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Student usually don't get involved that much, but when they do, its a fun time.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: There is still a fan section and students attend so does some faculty.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: It all depends on who the student sees things. As well as how some people in the community were treated by previous students.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Again I am online only but from reading reviews safety is extremely rated highly

5 College Junior

Administration: It's a christian university so they are extremely strict with values and education

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I do not live on campus since I'm fully online student study. The reviews however seem to be greatly positive.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I feel it went great but I was started school so hopefully it really is ok and doesn't become a headache later.

Campus Housing: My freshman year, I was in Bowman House, which is one of the oldest dorms on campus. However, the brotherhood at Bowman was awesome! I am now in another, newer dorm. It is more spacious with better living space. I am enjoying it, too.

Administration: As a Christian campus, there is a strong moral code here. Alcohol and drugs are not permitted on campus. The opposite sex is allowed to visit dorm rooms, but only with doors open. I am very pleased with the rules and administration here. It allows me to study and grow both academically and in my Christian life, as I am not burdened with partying going on around me.

Health & Safety: This is a Christian campus and, as such, crime appears to be very low. We have an active police presence on campus at all times, and they are from the local sheriff's department. I feel safe here, and I feel that police help is a phone call away. During a campus visit, my parents were made aware of the campus police numbers and have them in easy reach at home. I feel the campus is very protective of its students and takes our safety very seriously.

Off-Campus Dining: Marion, Indiana offers a wide variety of dining options. My friend group routinely visits Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees, IHOP, and Subway. There are also local spots that are very good: Teppanyaki, Sirloin Stockade, and Moe's (Mexican cuisine). When my family visits me, we usually go to Culver's, Applebees, or sometimes Buffalo Wild Wings. You can find just about anything here, including pizza at Pizza Hut and Little Caesar's.

Overall Experience: The courses and professors at IWU are phenomenal. The advisors for financial aid and admissions truly are there to help and direct you down the right path.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: I feel at IWU the students dress and act conservatively, and relationships are modest. They aren't as open and public as other universities I've witnessed.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: IWU is accepting of all backgrounds and beliefs. They faculty and staff make everyone feel welcome. Even if two people don't agree on a certain topic, they each respect the other person's beliefs and don't judge.

Academics: I love my program because it works well with my daily routine. I am a full time working mother of two. I am able to work during the day, go to class once a week to further my education, and still have plenty of time for my family.
