Athletics: School spirit is awesome here. Everyone has such school spirit. For homecoming everyone can be in a parade around Marion. The sports teams do very well.

Transportation: There really isnt a need for driving anywhere on campus. everything is within walking distance. the call building are by each other and the dorms are by each other.

Off-Campus Dining: Out to Eat. Off campus dinning is alright, there is alot of fast food places. There are places like fazoli's,mcdonalds, subway, etc. There aren't too many places to sitting down and eat. Mostly all there is,is Ihop,Bob Evans, and applebees. My favorite place is subway it is always easy, quick access.

Health & Safety: Campus Police – I really feel like the campus security is very awesome. They go out of there was to help people. they are willing to escort you to and from the study hall, be there if you lock yourself out of your car, and even if you need someone to go to lunch with. i love how i can walk through the campu and know that i am safe because these guys are always out making sure it is a safe enviroment. i am very appreciated to have these men and women as our security.

Off-Campus Dining: There are multiple ding places around campus that are cost effective and are timely for off campus driving between clases

Majors: As an education major I will be student teaching, which is like an intern. Student teaching is not paid, but you have to be able to show your time commitment like a regular paid teacher. It is like your final project before presenting your defense. Responsibilities include making the lesson plans for each day as if you are the teacher.

Greek Life: Greeks What Greeks? At my campus we don't have Greek life we have Resident halls that create the since that you are apart of Greek life with their rituals and traditions.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: You have to show that you are knowledgeable of your major. It is a long process that I have to take in order to get into the program.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Becoming Diverse – Most people are white but it is a growing campus that is becoming diverse.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: We have a full time staff that comes from the Grant County Sheriffs office, so I feel safe and secure. There is no drinking allowed on campus so I feel pretty safe walking around in the evening.

Local Area: The Campus Is Amazing – The town is very nice and the campus is wonderful but I don't know much about what is around the university.

4 College Senior

Majors: Theatre and Psychology Double Major – I adore both of my majors. The theatre major we have a HUGE amount of hands on experience. There are a lot of opportunities to learn all aspects of Theatre. We are very involved in the productions. The workload is fair. I enjoy my psychology major. I would like to learn more than theories, but that is what you learn in undergrad in pretty much any University. The facilities for both majors are wonderful. The curriculum is great. I just had an internship for my theatre major so that is good.

Academics: Fantastic Professors – The professors are interesting and are involved in their area of study. I've never had a teachers assistant teach a class. The workload is fair. The theatre professors in particular are wonderful an interested in their students personally. The curriculum is good. The only complaint I have is the price to attend.

Local Area: Good, Clean Environment. Depending on where you are living, there are multiple things to do on campus. You do not have to worry about constant party's. There is not a huge amount of off campus things to do, but there is enough. And there is a Starbucks.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: It Doesn't – It snows a ton there. Classes are never cancelled. However most the walk is indoors so it's okay.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Yes Please! We have many options for meal plans and you will always be able to find one great for you. Between IWU points and the dining hall, you will never go hungry.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Pretty Good – They keep us safe there. Have guys walk you to where you need to go at night and campus police are always there.

4 College Senior

Scholarships: Fin Aid – They seem to try to help students, but a good amount leave after the first semester or year regardless because of the price.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Off-Campus Food – More and more chains are coming to Marion because of IWU. Plenty of places to eat that are chains or actual town diners. The cheapest local eats still allow smoking, but have massive portions for price. Hardly any student discounts, Richards (very close/closest) has 10% off. Not many (if any) expensive/exclusive places.

Campus Quality: Campus Blds – Most buildings are pleasing to look at. The art buildings desperately need help. The stud center is pretty nice to chill. Library is alright, but Ball States is way better. SAC tries hard, lots of intramurals, good amount of student life. rec is impressive, new chapel is dumb and all for publicity. Education, Nursing, Communications/Writing, Religious, Theatre majors have a lot of advantages. Business is one of the worst. History is in good standing. Math/cpu majors and Nursing/science new bld soon. Campus Aesthetics divide us from the community and are overly ornate.

Campus Quality: The campus is absolutely GORGEOUS! Our student ctr looks like a mall, we several food options, really nice dorms wth air and heat that we can control ourselves. The community at Iwu is very strong. ducation and nursing our 2 of the top majors at our school. Pretty much all of the programs at this school are great. they're really intense so they give you the best. Chorale is the top choir at this school that travels the usa and the world and is by far the most amazing group of singers I have ever heard in my ife! Iwu has great performing arts! All of the profs are for the most part pretty cool and helpful.

Administration: Strict as Sin! This is a great school but by far the most strict school in indiana. It feels more like a daycare or maybe middle school at the most. they're really strict with guys and girls together, we have curfew, no parties, no greek life, they just now allowed dancing within restriction of course and we have a dress code. guy and girl dorms only, no co-ed. Get caught drinking, smoking or having sex and you're talking about automatic expulsion and if you get pregnant and you're not married at any point during the school year, you're instantly kicked out. There s mandatory chapel mon/wed/fri that does effect your graduation. A c- is a failing grade at this school and you will have to re-take the course if you have a c- or below. This is a small private christian school so its very religius and very strict.

Academics: Indiana Wesleyan has great programs. I'm going for Nursing, and they are well known for the program. It provides an awesome Christian environment to learn and grow in Christ. The professors seem really involved in not only teaching the students but also making sure they are being successful. The library has special private study rooms so students can get away and focus on studying for a big test or work on projects. Overall it's an amazing school!

Academics: Excellent Nursing Program – I am in the Nursing progam at IWU, and it is excellent. The profs are incredibly knowledgeable; and not just book-knowledge, but lots of practical knowledge from years of practice. The profs are also very kind - their office doors are open any time to discuss the material, nursing as a whole, life after college, or anything at all. The program is challenging, but I for one am very happy to know that I will be as well prepared as I can be when I graduate and enter the field.
