Campus Housing: Most of the dorms are very close to everything. Community is a large emphasis all over campus. Dorm options are good for underclassmen, and upperclassmen also have the option of on-campus townhouses and lodges.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I actually was on the IWU website today looking for scholarships I could apply to but I could not find a link anywhere. I hope they make it easier to find them in the future.

5 College Junior

Athletics: We have a great athletics department at IWU, followed with an awesome fan support.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: As a Business Management Major, I am required to have an internship the summer before my senior year. I personally am looking forward to it because I get to see hands on what it is like to manage a business. I don't have many concerns finding an internship because my advisor said she would be willing to help me find one because it is required for me to graduate on time.

Party Scene: IWU is in small town of Marion which has bout 30,000 people. Marion has everything you need, restaurants, the Wal-Mart, Mejier, small shopping mall, bowling, golf, starbucks. IWU is close to the north side suburbs of Indianapolis (Carmel and Fishers were were recently named the #1 and #10 places to live in America). Those cities are sweet and have tons of upscale restaurants, outdoor shopping malls, music clubs, concerts and sporting events. Indianapolis is great city if you like sports and art stuff. It's safe too.

Campus Food: Food is one of best parts of IWU. They have main dining hall called Baldwin which is buffet style and included many ethnic foods and options for students with food allergies or that are gluten free, etc. They also have a huge food court that has a real Chik-Fil-A! Many other options in there too and it's all part of our meal plan so I never have to pay cash for anything, I just use my student ID card which has my meal plan on it

5 College Junior

Diversity: It felt like 99.9% of students here are looking to further their relationship with Jesus Christ. A few rare students are here for certain strong academic programs. I heard of a few kids getting into trouble for being stupid but almost all students here are good people. Very very few openly homesexual students but campus is loving to them although they do not agree with the practice of homosexuality. Since it's a Midwest school it's a pretty conservative political school but most students don't care much about politcs.

Campus Housing: Residence halls are all relatively new. They all have individual air conditioning units in each room. All freshman level dorm rooms are suite style so you share a bathroom with your roommate and one other room of two students. All dorms are either all male or all female which was nice. There are open dorm hours each week where guys/girls can hang out in each others dorm rooms. Starting sophomore year you have access to dorms that look more like apartments. Included in those dorms are walk in closets that are huge! Junior and Senior years you have apartment or townhome options on campus with full kitchens. Dorms are sweet here!

5 College Junior

Scholarships: They now have higher academic scholarships that combine GPA and ACT/SAT scores to determine your scholarship amount.

Majors: My major is Pre-Art Therapy at Indiana Wesleyan University. I really enjoy my major and I feel that I have been able to develop my skills as an artist. I have not had a professor in my major that I have not liked, and they all strive to challenge you so that you can really learn. I have seen some very cool internship opportunities come out of our school as well.

Party Scene: Because drinking is prohibited at Indiana Wesleyan University, the typical college nightlife does not really take place here. That being said, there are a variety of different activities that different student organizations put on especially on the weekends. We have different events from dances, to our very own movie theater, to a game room with ping-pong and billiards to entertain yourself with spare time.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: There is really no need for transportation on campus unless you commute there daily. The groundskeepers do a really good job of keeping the sidewalks cleared and salted when it snows and everything is within walking distance. Over all, it is very easy to get across campus quickly on foot.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Everybody loves eating at Moe's! They have great burritos. They have a special student day each week where they give discounts when you show your student ID. Steak and Shake is also a hot spot for getting off-campus food.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: It snows a lot here in the winter, but classes are hardly ever cancelled. However, IWU does a great job of getting the snow out of the way and putting ice on the sidewalk, plus the dorms are all within a fairly short distance of the academic buildings, so you feel safe walking. When the weather is nice in the fall and spring, everyone studies outside, so bring a picnic blanket!

Local Area: People make fun of Marion and say there isn't much to do, but you can always go to Wal-Mart or Meijer and that can actually be fun if you do things with your friends like the $5 game. There is also a friendly Starbucks and a fun fro-yo place called JuJuBerry that are very welcoming of college students to come drink coffee/eat yogurt and study there. There are also tons of local churches which are very welcoming and love to have students get involved.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are few housing so it is hard to get something till like your junior year.

4 College Freshman

Local Area: It is very friendly. There is lots to do on campus. It is a very safe town. The shopping is descent and close to the big city.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: They help out so much and they do a great job working with students.

4 College Junior

Majors: I really like being in this program. I'm learning a lot and the teachers are well train and care about the students, again this school is the school for me. I love the way thay set up the currculum helps with the learning process

5 College Junior

Technology: Network feed is super fast, and I am able to connect quickly using my own portable devices.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I love TESOL Education's community and professors!

5 College Senior

Academics: This is a great school. The options of courses and schedule is great for my workload

4 College Senior

Academics: This is a great school. The program is a bit tricky and unorganized, but everything else if great. Career counseling and placement is not that good

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: Very conservative college. This is why I am going here instead of Ball State/Party College.

5 College Freshman

Weather: Campus is small enough that you can get to anywhere during any weather.
Very nice student center is located in the middle of campus so students use it as a walk through.
