3 College Freshman

Athletics: I don't really like sports, but our teams are really good and we are highly ranked in our division. We have a pretty popular ultimate frisbee team. I think if we had a football team our athletic department would start to do a lot better

Parking: Parking fees are $15 for the whole year, but depending on where you live parking can be a pain. My dorm has a small parking lot right behind the dorm, but when those spots fill up you have to park in a lot in the middle of no where and trek all the way back to the dorm.

Diversity: The diversity on campus is low, but if you are looking for a place to go to find diversity, you should get involved with the Intercultural Student Services. They have a lot of places and events to discuss diversity and culture and learn about other people's backgrounds and where they come from and what they are passionate about.

Off-Campus Dining: Off campus dining is just the normal chain restaurants and fast food places. There are a couple nicer places to go out to eat like the K Bistro, but other than that its really nothing special

4 College Freshman

Technology: I'm a Communications major and I never have a problem finding a Mac lab to work at or using my own laptop in classes or the buildings

Weather: If you are originally from Indiana the weather is stuff you are already used t, but for anyone else its can be very sucky. The Indiana weather is "bipolar" and it can be sunny and nice one day and snowing the next

College Freshman

Party Scene: We aren't allowed to go to any of the night clubs and bars.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: We have our own campus police and they are always there if you need someone to walk you back to the dorm or if you get into trouble.

College Freshman

Drug Safety: The drug scene is incredibly low, mostly because it's a Christian university and we don't have a lot of exposure to drugs and such

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I didn't really need a lot of financial aid, but my friends who did got what they needed taken care of.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are easy to find inexpensive housing.

Campus Quality: For Christian Ministry studies, Indiana Wesleyan University is definitely a higher learning institution with professors that really care for your spiritual, emotional and physical growth and well being. The courses are easy to understand and the accesses to the many study aids is great.

Off-Campus Housing: Not the safest area, but i've heard good things from people who live off campus. It's usually way cheaper (around half off room and board) But you can only get off campus if you are 21 and a senior with a certain amount of credits.

Drug Safety: Doing Drugs = You get kicked out
Drinking (on/off campus) = kicked out

Transportation: The only way you're getting to town is walking (about a half mile) or taking a car. No other options. Except maybe a bike or long board. (good luck in the winter)

3 Recent Alumnus

Technology: Wireless in most classroom buildings and newer dorms, but a lot of dorms still aren't wi-fi enabled.
