4 College Student

Diversity: They are welcoming to everyone. We're Christians! The more, the merrier.

Local Area: Marion has its up's and down's.

4 College Student

Campus Housing: Some are debatable, but most are really nice and smell good.

Off-Campus Dining: It has the normal fast-foods and nice restaurants, but they do have a lot of Mexican places!

4 College Student

Campus Food: It's good and has options.

4 College Student

Administration: I feel safe, and it is a Christian school that is against alcohol and drug use; therefore, the environment is health and positive. There is no other place I rather be. I don't mind the rules because they are legitimate.

Overall Experience: The on-line experience has been terrific.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The workload of my on-line classes have the appropriate due dates.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The professors are very helpful and are easily accessible.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It was very easy to get my financial aid.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It was very easy to complete the application process. The office personal are very helpful.

4 College Junior

Parking: A lot of students bring cars to campus. It is very cheep. It's not too hard to get a spot, but it is hard to get a good spot unless you are an upper class man.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Most students are very interested in dating. Common sayings are "freshman mating season" and "ring by spring". There are more girls than guys on campus. This is dubbed "the ratio" so it is harder to find a boyfriend than it is a girlfriend.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: The residence halls usually have themes and are very intentional about making opportunities for the students to grow and socialize. The dorms are very nice and spacious. They are all done suite-style, so no community bathrooms!

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: We have Steak-N-Shake, Subway, Fazzoli's, Bob Evens and other well known restaurants.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: Financial aid is a complicated process, but the counselors are available and very helpful. Of the schools I applied to, IWU gave me the best financial aid practice.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: The people at IWU are amazing. I have made many lifelong friendships.

5 College Junior

Academics: The biology major is difficult, but there are plenty of opportunities to do well.

4 College Junior

Academics: IWU is not ivy-league, however the courses are adequately challenging and the the academic expectations are high. Most importantly, the professors are qualified individuals that genuinely care about their students. It would be ideal if IWU offered more foreign language options.

4 College Junior

Administration: IWU is relatively strict. However, in the realm of Christian schools, IWU is much less strict than average. Recently IWU has loosened the rules on dancing, M-rated video games, and R-rated movies.

Health & Safety: The campus police are very friendly and willing to help with just about anything, including driving a girl with severe asthma from her dorm to the health center.

3 College Junior

Transportation: You either walk, bike, or drive to wherever you need to go.

2 College Junior

Diversity: IWU believes that diversity is important and does a lot to promote it, regardless, diversity is still minimal.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: Baldwin, Wildcat, Mario's, and now Wings and Tots. The catering is done by Pioneer. Overall the food tastes good and there is plenty of variety. There are certain days that you know the food is not going to be very good, so it is important to be a little creative.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Most students dislike the fact that IWU does not have a football team, however the soccer teams and basketball teams do well and the games can be a lot of fun to attend.
