5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love it, it feels just like home.

College Student

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus, and not able to for the fact that I do not have a license or vehicle.

3 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: Papa John's has a deal: Any large pizza for $7.99 when you carry-out

3 College Student

Administration: i don't really have a problem with it

College Student

Party Scene: I don't really go to parties. As a music major, I spend most of my times practicing. I've heard scary things that happen at parties so I tend to stay away from them .

2 College Student

Campus Food: It's pretty gross. Subway workers are the worst! and I just wish there were more options and healthier options on campus. I'd like some fruit.

3 College Student

Campus Housing: The buildings themselves are nice, but some rules are not followed. The RA's don't seem to force them as much as they should. My building personally, has been busted for pot quite a few time. Housing in general is quite pricey. The social atmosphere is practically non exisistant

Overall Experience: Degree value only applies if you know for almost certain what you want to do. Don't make the mistake of being undecided too long and for all that is good in the world visit an actual career counselor (not the mac counselors) or take the career planning class that's often hidden in the edux area if you're not sure and need help. Tons of opportunities for career fairs and internships/externships and they're always posted. Like I mentioned, the career center here sucks, unless you visit an actual career counselor.

Overall Experience: Most of the professors are pretty awesome and easy going. Every now and then you may get a grumpy/strict one, but usually they love what they teach and try to make it fun. Courses tend to be okay, and most times are average difficulty which corresponds to their course number difficulty. However, if a class the first week seems like it's going to be too hard or too much pressure make sure to change classes sooner rather than later, as usually that instinct is right. There are a few professors here who do expect too much from you. Class sizes tend to be average, though sometimes you may end up in a really large or small class (but it's not as common).

Off-Campus Housing: This is a hard one... The places close to campus tend to be either really expensive or when they're not they're not usually that great in quality or safety. Most housing tends to be close to campus, though, in walking or biking distance if you have half an hour to an hour to spare. There's always availability, but turnover rates tend to be higher due to price or quality. parking totally depends on where you are, some is great and others are pretty poor. Safety tends to be an issue all over, though... these areas aren't well patrolled and thefts are a common concern.

Off-Campus Dining: There are actually a decent number and variety of dining locations quite close to campus. Cost tends to be average overall, but gives place for both day to day and more fancy eating. Quality is pretty good everywhere except maybe the McDonalds on Coliseum, which always forgets part of your order. Locations are convenient, since the school is right next to the downtown area. Several places give student discounts, but you may have to ask (not always obvious). S'barros at Glenbrrok mall is amazing, you have to go there! If you have a little extra cash and want some great Chinese food, House of Hunan is absolutely for you.

Scholarships: The online acceptance of financial aid and scholarships is great, especially when you can choose what ones you want or how much you want to take. Lost of choice. And the longer you're in school, the more scholarships are available. I got enough in financial aid and scholarships to cover housing, books, supplies, and school no problem.

College Senior

Party Scene: I don't really party at all, and my family and friends aren't really party people either. I've heard there are some good bars around the area, but I haven't personally been to any of them.

College Senior

Campus Housing: I do not live in campus housing, but rather off campus. All family and friends live off campus, as well.

2 College Senior

Campus Food: Most of the food on campus is quite unhealthy, save for subway. Pizza hut does have a salad bar, but unless you want salad and subs every day the options for healthy food are extremely limited. Pizza hut's prices are quite high for their food, as well, though the others are average/normal price. Options for vegetarians are extremely limited and very poor.

Athletics: I do not hear about sports a lot.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I live with my parents

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: Its okay but I do not go to pang partys there I go to other places.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus. Therefore I do not know what campus housing is like

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: On campus housing is incredibly nice but is not worth the outrageously high costs. Housing is also quite the distance from the main campus where classes are held. there is no meal plan, it would be very beneficial if there was one, just like most universities in the U.S.

College Freshman

Majors: I have not yet had an internship

3 College Freshman

Academics: I feel like my program does not provide many options as well as support. i wish there more classes offered for my degree

4 College Freshman

Academics: The workload is very fair, the professors and curriculum are very good. study areas are very limited.

3 College Freshman

Campus Quality: The layout of campus doesn't provide many options for students to hang out or study. The athletic center is small.

4 College Freshman

Local Area: There are many activities going on in Fort Wayne throughout the year that attract wide variety of people.
