The faculty and classes that IRSC offers to students are above my expectations of a community college. The professors I've had for my classes so far have been so enthusiastic about their fields. Helping students succeed is definitely a priority that is held high. Whenever I ran into a couple of problems with my college track, the friendliness always eased my anxiety. Straightening out issues with my advisor was actually something I felt confident about and looked forward to!

Class sizes don't conflict with lessons, in my honest opinion. The sizes I've experienced have been from 20-40, and I still had a great learning experience.

Involved: Events, Meets, and Even Cash Cab! IRSC is always doing something somewhere. Events occur every weeks, and students are very involed in connecting socially. The school even has it's own version of the show "Cash Cab". A golf cart randomly goes around the school, picks students up, and offers prizes for correct answers on trivia of the school's history. The school also has a great impact on the economy and understands the importance of "going green". They have a whole building dedicated to energy efficiency and have multiple wind turbines and solar panels powering the classrooms.

The computer network is very reliable. I never have a problem with it. The school provides multiple computer labs with at least 20 computers for student use and every classroom contains at least 5 or 6 computers and the newer classrooms contain as many as 10-15 computers in each room. All rooms are equipped with state or the art technology such as two projectors, smart boards, video audio carts, computers, etc. Printing on campus is very reasonable, its free! Copies are only $0.10 a copy. The speed of the internet is fantastic! There really is no need for your own computer unless you want too. For students who have online classes can easily do their school work on campus with the amount of computers the school provides at all campuses.
