Campus Food: It has a variety of foods. The CenterCourt has sandwiches and some sushi. Which is awesome! They have different salads that are fresh.

Campus Food: The Commons consists of a variety of foods including the everyday usuals such as Pizza and burgers. The pasta station changes its ingredients everyday. The main entree for both vegan/vegetarian and non-vegetarian people has something different everyday and also changes for the different meal peiods. For example, the lunch entree can consist of Tilapia and rice while dinner may be meatloaf and mashed potatoes. As a freshman during the first semester, I was so excited about the Commons. Never before in my life was I able to have buffet meals all day, everyday. However, after one whole semester of eating at the Commons, I, like many others became tired of it. I had the 14 Meals A Week Plan. This plan gave you 14 Commons meals every week and about $175 in bonus points that can be used to buy food and drinks at other dining areas on campus. I only recommend to get the The 14 Meals A Week Plan if you know you will be eating in the Commons 14 times during a week because unused weekly meals expire at the end of the week. I didn't eat all 14 meals every single week, so I had a lot of unused meals. If you know you won't be eating 14 times every week and have a taste for the food offered at other dining areas like Talon's or Center Court, then I recommend getting the Create Your Own meal plan. It's around $150 cheaper than the 14 A Week and lets you choose how many total meals and bonus points you want. You start off with 175 total meals for the semester, and you can convert as many of these meals to bonus points you want at a rate of 7 bonus points/meal. One bonus point equals one dollar. Note that when you convert meals to bonus points, the value decreases. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner have different prices in the Commons. For example, breakfast is around $7 while lunch or dinner is around $10.95. So, when you convert a meal to bonus points, you're basically losing around 3 or 4 dollars. So convert wisely and be sure to leave yourself a decent number of Commons meals.

Campus Food: Campus food is campus food. I would rate this school in the top 25% of colleges cafeterias. Its a college cafeteria... get over it the food will be bad and good some days. I always find something that I want to eat. People here do complain but I think their complaints are insignificant.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: I used to have meals at the Commons over the summer, but things got pretty repetitive. There's no reason to complain though because there are tons of places to got out and eat within a train ride. And the train ride is free. And it's Chicago, duh.
