Overall Experience: I started off not being social, but slowly became social because of the clubs I have joined.

Health & Safety: There is always a security guard walking around the campus so I feel completely safe when outside at night. There has not been a lot of crime that has been seen on campus or that I have heard of at least.

Overall Experience: The professors are incredibly helpful throughout your time at school. Since it is a small school students are able to get a more one-on-one relationship with each professor. This helps students get more help on their homework resulting in better grades overall.

Campus Housing: The dorm life is safe and sociable. Its a great experience. I would suggest living on campus in dorm to everybody because it changes you either for the better or worse. The housing process is fairly easy. All you do is apply for a dorm and ask for a certain roommate and you get it.

Greek Life: On the Illinois College campus we do not have sororities or fraternities, instead we have literary societies where we give productions on controversial topics. I am currently in Chi Beta on campus and have enjoyed ever moment of the pledging process and making great friends.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I don't necessary participant in sports at Illinois College, but I do know that we support our athletes in everything they do.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Illinois College campus has an amazing atmosphere that makes every first-year student feel welcomed. The professors actually care about your success and take time out of their busy schedules to help each student pursue their passion. Since it is a small school, students are able to get better one-on-one help with all of their homework. Overall an amazing academic establishment.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe on campus. We have public safety on patrol at nights, and if you ever feel unsafe you can call them and someone will escort you back to wherever you are wanting to go.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am currently taking a lot of my gen-ed courses, therefore I'm taking courses that don't necessarily interest me. These classes aren't my favorites, but most of my classes have been very interesting and enjoyable. You really get the chance to get to know your professors which is nice.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Illinois College has a high job-placement rate after graduation. As a person who is worried about finding a job after I finish schooling, it's reassuring to have so many options made available to help me with the future.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living in the dorms is definitely an adjustment if you aren't used to living with other people, and the community bathrooms are smaller than I'd like, but I love living on campus. If you can, I would suggest living in a co-ed dorm because it gives you a chance to make a lot of friends - no matter the gender. All of my closest friends live in the same building as I do, and it's really nice.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not apart of Greek life, but quite a few of my friends are. They talk about how great their societies are but don't let them consume their life.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: As a non-athlete on campus, I don't really pay much attention to the athletics departments. However, I know what everyone I've interacted with who are athletes are happy with their situation.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Coming from a small high school, Illinois College is a great fit for me. The small atmosphere gives me a chance to really connect with the people on campus; I don't think that would be the case if I was at a large state school.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I am apart of Peer Health Educators, and we educate our peers about mental, emotional, and sexual health. I think students are very aware of the dangers collage life can bring.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I've taking some interesting classes, and I've had even better professors. I know I have an advisor if I need anything. I love the class sizes because they're small, and I learn more.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I'm only in my second year, so I haven't really been looking for my future job; however, I've heard good things, and have gotten internships.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I've been priveledge to live in one of the nicer doors as an underclassman, and I haven't had any problems. The maintenance people clean very often, and if your having a problem, they stop buy with in a few days.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Being a two sport athlete, I've had the chance to go to multiple different campus. None of the schools compare to IC's. The facility is clean and very up to date. It convienently holds all the sporting events in one area. I'm always upset when my team is on the road just because I never know what the next facility is going to look like.
