5 College Junior

Technology: It's only $35 a semester for WiFi, access to all computer labs, and 1,000 pages of printing. Computer labs are in almost every building, so I am able to print assignments, notes for class, and more no matter where I am.

5 College Junior

Technology: There are two 24 computer labs the rest are micro labs that have time limits during the day. $35 a semester will get you a set amount of printing and unlimited WiFi use on as many devices as you like. If you go over your allotment of printing, the lab will extend your allotment as long as it is for academic purposes. That being said, don't buy your own printer.

3 College Student

Technology: There are a lot of computer labs, but during crunch times in semesters, it's best if you bring your own computer or you might not get a computer in the computer lab. Printing on campus is fairly easy and very cheap to do so.

2 College Freshman

Technology: You can survive without a personal lap top for the first year of classes or so. After that you better get something or you'll suffer.

Computers at ISU are quite accessible and convenient for students. The computer kiosks set up in various parts of campus provide students with quick and easy access to the school's Internet connection. Word programs and other software are handy for students, and problems are rare. The only time students really have any problem finding computers is between classes and right before finals week. The Internet connection also rarely has problems or is backed up. The only time students may experience trouble or delays in accessing their accounts is during registration when everybody else wants to be doing the same thing.

The Rendezvous Center has ample opportunities and computer access. With the labs, computers, and new technology, ISU students will have a huge technological advantage over past students. And with technology becoming fundamental in many professions, students need to have the newest digital opportunities available. The Rendezvous and the continual improvement of computer labs on the ISU campus are helping students get ready for the digital world.
