Off-Campus Dining: I love the little places downtown/in old town. We have the classic chain restaurants, but the hole-in-the-wall places like El Herradero or Thai Paradise are DELICIOUS, and give you lots of food for your money. The god here is good. It's the best thing about Pocatello. I won't go into too much detail--the fun part is exploring and finding a new place! Especially when you go to neighboring towns like Lava to enjoy the cheap (but pretty high quality) hot springs.

Off-Campus Dining: we have a few that are around us that are fairly cheep, and if you are a student they give a discount to try and help out. my favorite place to eat would be goodies sandwich shop. they have the best food and pizza

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining is a lot cheaper and there are more varieties compared to on campus. However, on campus it is a lot convenient because I live closer to campus then other dining options.

Off-Campus Dining: Some of the food is overpriced & not good.

Students definitely have their favorite eating joints in Pocatello. Everybody pretty much goes to the same place, usually Goody's. And while there is a wide variety of places to eat in Pocatello, the romantic fine-dining setting is a tough one to find. While there is definitely gratitude for what's here, there could certainly be more. So unless your girlfriend enjoys a candle-lit dinner at McDonald's, which has been done before, don't count on finding too much romance in Pocatello cuisine.

Fast food is the cheap way to go in Pocatello. Choices include Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Subway, Arby's, Taco John's, and many others. For dining in, the city offers the popular Applebee's, Winger's, Red Lobster, Sizzler, and more. As far as student hot spots off campus, Buddy's is the place to be to hang out and get good spaghetti. The sandwiches at Goody's also make it a popular restaurant, usually crammed with people during lunch. Jimmy John's offers subs with fresh bread and their signature "free smells." In Pocatello, there is dining for any taste.
